The Story of My Life(ON HOLD)

No Excuses

We road in the car in silents. You could hear the roar of cars and the little kids screaming from the playground we passed by. We left Emma's house early as soon as Drew had his little break down. My mom rushed out grabbing my arm. I was so confused. Nothing made sense.

'He's such a drama queen' I said in my head looking at Drew.

He turned to look at me, then turned away.

Well opps I said that out loud.

As soon as we pulled up at the house he ran out of the car.

As I walked into the house Jackson grabbed my hand as pulled me to the side.

"Don't touch me," I said.

"Somebody's a little mad," He said, I let go of his grip only for him to grab my hand again. "Did Drew tell you?" He asked.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

"Oh nevermind," He said walking away.

"NO!" I screamed. "I hate neverminds just tell me."

He turn the corner and I could hear his footsteps running. I'm not even in the mood to run after him.

I felt someone grab my other hand, once again yanking me to the side.

"Stopppp!" I said without looking at the person who was pinning me on the wall.

"Jared?" I asked.

"Hey," He said like he was out of breath.

"Hi..." I said awkwardly. "Could you let go of me?" I asked.

"No, I need to talk to you." He said.

"Okay talk." I said.

"I'm sorry," He said.

"For what?"

"I kept making you mad well unhappy? But I know I'm doing something wrong," He said.

"Its okay your not doing anything wrong," I said shifting away from him.

He stood there looking at me with a questioning look on his face.

I was to tired to inform him why I was not in the mood to talk. I went upstairs to go to sleep. There was school tomorrow and I was exhausted.

"Morning!" My teacher chirped.

"Eh," I said.

I sat in my seat next to Jared but he wasn't there yet. James was sitting in front of me.

He turned around and spoke.

"Hey Beautiful," I put my head down.

"Hi," I said tiredly.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Tired,"

"Really?" He said I knew there was a smirk on his face. I looked up and saw the smirk I expected.

"Yes,"

"Okay who was it?" He asked.

"No one."

"No Meg, if it was a guy put your head up. He's an idiot. Anyone who would make you feel 'tired' is a waste of time," I thought of Drew.

"Okay your right." I said feeling better.

He knew exactly what I meant by tired.

Torn, Broken, Unhappy, Sad, Confused- I didn't know what I was feeling but I knew it wasn't a good feeling.

Jared came in but James didn't look at him. He stared into my eyes and I stared back into him caramel eyes. It was weird actually him and Jared had the exact same color eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" James asked.

From the corner of my eye I could see Jared with his jaw dropped.

"I---I," I stammered.

"Megan?"

"Yes," I said proudly.

Jared got up and walked out of the room.

James kept smiling, so I couldn't help but not smile.

"We're going on a date tonight, no excuses," He said.

"Okay," I said expecting trouble from the whole house.

It went to fast, it was very very unexpected.

I got out of 1st hour and Cam was standing there.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey? Hey? Are you stupid?"

James came out and gave me a hug.

"Babe I'm going to my locker catch up with you later?" He said.

Babe?

"Okay," I said.

Cam made a disgusted face then looked at me with huge eyes once he left.

"Two questions. Where's your other half? And why am I stupid?" I asked.

"Conner is--I have no idea I ran over here as soon as I could. And your stupid because your going out with him!" He said.

"So," I said.

"Jared pissed, Drew will be pissed, and I don't know about Jackson but I'm pretty sure he won't be happy," He said. "You've got a lot of things coming for you."

"I can do whatever I want Cam!" I whisper shouted. "I don't care what they think!"

"Okay but I warned you," He said walking away.

I walked for a bit till someone grabbed my waist and pulled me towards them.

Conner.

"Your taller than me," I said looked up at him.

"I've always been taller than you," He said. "Your just trying to wipe away the conversation I was going to bring up."

"And?"

"Megan, you need break up with him right now." He said.

"Conner I won't break up with him because you guys are telling me to," I said. "We're going on a date tonight." I told him.

"Well break it off!" He said.

I started walking away then I turned around.

"No excuses," I said with a wink.
