"Are you ready?"
I begin panting, trying to forget all the pain.
"y-yes! just get this thing out of me!!!"
"Okay, take deep breaths... in and out. in and out. okay now start pushing but keep on with the breathing."
"I'm pushing already!!"
I begin yelling from all the pain and continue pushing.
"Try to focus on something else.Try to picture your baby in you arms."
okay. okay. breathe in and breathe out... Im pushing and pushing and now im trying to picture me and my baby in our own little house.. our own little family.
"Okay I see the head, keep going your almost there"
keep on going rose! don't give up.... do it for your baby. Then all the pain stops and I hear a cry from a baby. I smile as they wrap her in a towel and hand her to me and feel tears rushing down my face. Lissa is standing behind the nurse and she comes forward and whispers in my ear
"everyone's here. Can they come in?"
I laugh and say
"Yes. They can come in."
Zoey comes forward and asks
"Have you chosen a name for her yet?"
"Yes. Ava Vasilla Hathaway"
I look down and brush her hair back and plant a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you Ava. So much!"
then a soft knock comes to the door and I yell
"COME IN!!"
with that everyone comes in but there's one face among the group who is there and they shouldn't be. Guess who it was..
