She didn't speak to him. She hasn't in a while. It had been hours since the event had happened but the two couldn't get it off of their minds. They couldn't sleep so they stayed awake. Laying the farthest away from each other. In the same situation they had been in before. Lucy couldn't forget what he had done.

"Lucy" She didn't speak. She was afraid. "I'm sorry" She didn't move. She instead pretended to be asleep. Subaru pulled her close to him. She blushed hard. How could he be like this?

In Subaru's dream

Subaru had woken up in a green field. He stared at the ground knowing that if his mother and Lucy's mother would come, they would truly scold him for what he had done. He heard whispers coming from someone in front of him. He looked up and seen his mother and Lucy's mother. They seemed to be about fifteen feet away from him but he seemed to still be able to hear their conversation.

"He could have killed her."

"Layla he stopped-"

"But what if he didn't! I don't want her to get hurt protecting your son."

"Lucy is the only one left who could save him. I can only do so much." Layla sighed.

"I know, I'm just afraid."

"I am too but I am not going to give up hope." Layla looked at her and smiled.

"Neither am I, Lucy is a brave girl after all."

Dream change

Subaru was back in the Sakamaki mansion. He didn't see Lucy but he heard her voice. He followed it until he had seen a cracked door. He looked through the door and seen Lucy dressed in a white night gown. He blushed precisely. She began to lowly sing what seemed to be a lullaby as she brushed her hair. She stopped and looked down.

"No matter what, I will always love Subaru-Kun." She smiled before he woke up. He woke up and immediately looked to his right. He had seen Lucy asleep and blushed.

"No matter what, I will always protect you."
