As the two arrived at School Subaru watched Lucy. He knew something was night right but couldn't put his mind to it. It was as if someone wanted to take her from him. He watched as the Mukami's passed by. As that happened Kou smirked at him. Subru glared at Kou before grabbing Lucy's wrist and dragging her inside.

"Mr. Sakamaki"

"Come on" The two stopped in front of her class.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" She looked at him in his eyes.

"Are you sure?" He blushed and looked away.

"Yeah, just stay away from the Mukami's." She nodded before walking into class. "For all I know, you might do the opposite." Subaru went to class. When Lucy's class were asked to turn to a page in their book, she had seen a note.

'At Lunch, meet me in the stairwell -Subaru.' She stared at it. What did he want to discuss? Was he going to admit that he liked her? Maybe but then again maybe not. She began to catch up with her class.

Lunch with Subaru

Subaru couldn't explain it. He felt strange around his wife,  similar to when he was around Yui. When he hugged her the night before he acted without thinking. He did care for her and possibly liked her, she had been his wife and now he knew that she would be there for him. So he must do the same, as the promise he had made. As he walked in the stairwell to Lucy's class he had seen Kou kissing Lucy. Lucy backed away from him quickly. She looked to her left and seen Subaru.

"Mr. Sakamaki" He turned the other way and walked away from the two. He may have vowed to protect her but he will never love her. As school finished Lucy didn't see Subaru waiting for her in front of her class. So that meant that she had to go home alone. When she came home, the lights were off meaning that Subaru had been asleep or just laying down. She quietly closed the door behind her and began to get ready for bed. As she finished she walked into their room to see Subaru sitting on his side of his bed staring at his feet. She walked in front of him. Subaru looked at her before he grabbed both of her wrist and pinned her to their bed. His face hovered over her's.

"I told you to stay away." He looked at her in her eyes. "But you disobeyed me." His grip tightened making Lucy cringe. "To make matters worse you kissed him." 

"I'm sorry for disobeying your orders Mr. Sakamaki." He stared at her as her face had flown in the moonlight. Her eyes were like large saucers. He stopped, he couldn't fall into her trap. He needed to show that he didn't have any feelings for her.

"When I got your note to meet you in the hallway I thought that you wanted to talk to me in the hallway but it turned out that the note had been written by Kou. He kissed me as soon as you appeared. I'm sorry for not noticing before." He stood up.

"I'm sleeping on the couch tonight. Don't bother me until tomorrow."
