Chapter 1 Apex Deployment

"Blisk do you honestly think this was a good job to take on," Leon asked in his titan tone. "Of course Leon, do you really think I wouldn't take this job if I didn't think it would pay well," Blisk scoffed. Slone quickly turned looking at Leon, her cockpit open so she could step out and asses the damaged vanguard class titan. "It's vanguard class......most likely 6-4 by the green and orange paint scheme," She said opening the cockpit to see it completely empty. "Oi blisk heads up hostile up above," Leon yells as he looks up a 6-4 ship flying over head his tone arming her massive 40mm tracker cannon. "Let them pass Leon don't fire," Slone says her ion titan placing a hand on the gun lowering it slowly. She looked at the ship then back at Blisk and shook her head. "Blisk they're going the same direction that our target is," she says her ion lifting her back into the cockpit. They all look at each other and start to head towards their objective, cautious of their surroundings. "Hey Leon how's that new mod working for you," slone ask as they walked. "Oh it's working quite well to tell you the truth I love switching between full and semi auto fire modes it helps," He responded with a smirk. "Oi cut the chatter check your radars titans 1 klick from here," Blisk said as his legion titan arming its massive predator cannon, Slone and Leon following suit arming their weapons and continued on their path. About thirty minutes later Leon looks over at Blisk and disembarks from his titan, continuing with a Flatline assault rifle and a wingman elite sidearm. He looks around then moving some shrubs to get a clear view and sees three men and one woman standing there with their titans. Leon out gunned and out numbered just watches cloaking himself and thinking, "Shit titans.....let's see here a Ronan, Tone, Ion, and a Northstar......and they are all 6-4 of course, I have to get back and tell Blisk." He says as he goes back to Blisk and Slone. "Blisk there is 6-4 through the tree line," Blisk nods and looks at him then after a few seconds of thinking then responds, "Leon you know what to do get the job done." He smirks and embarks back into his tone and heads towards the 6-4 agents. "Hmm this is going to be an easy fight," Leon thinks as he walks around the ship his titan in full cloaking. He grins and deploys a holo-pilot and watches as it jumps up on top of the ship, then the holo pilot smirks and mimics Leon, "oh isn't this a lovely surprise some 6-4 wannabe mercs how cute.....oh Gates how lovely to see you out and about again." Grates looked at the hologram and shook her head rolling her eyes, "to be honest with you I expected better form Blisk and you gutless bastards!" The hologram put his hands up in a sarcastic manner, "woah there calm yourself miss Brit the Calvary isn't here okay." Gates grumbled something then drew her pistol and shot the hologram in the head making it disappear, gates stood there surprised how she was so easily fooled. "W-what the hell where are you show yourself damn it!" Gates yells looking around, then two snipper shots flys out from the tree line killing instantly two of the three men standing near Gates. Then Leon walks out holding a double take throwing it to the side it's duel barrels smoking from the two shots that were just previously fired off. Gates as well as the other pilot draw their weapons and fired at the mercenary, but his tone but up the practical-wall defense shield, blocking the rounds. "God damn it we can't do anything with that tone! Ronan Northstar attack," Gates shouts only to look back and see both titans destroyed, either sparking or on fire. "You 6-4 are so predictable you know that," Leon teased as he stood behind the shield, then he turned and embarked back into his titan. At the same time the other 6-4 pilot embarks into his Ion, "gates let me at him." Gates turned and nodded "permission granted and one more thing.......good luck Travis." In his titan Leon has a villainous grin on his face as his tone taunts the enemy pilot, after a second the Ion rushes the tone grabbing it by the waist and pushing, trying to tackle the titan. While the Ion has ahold of the Tone, the tone starts to slam the back of the enemy titan trying to break free. Leon, knowing he can't get free, quickly uses the titans evade systems to spin around and out of the Ion's grasp, but without realizing that they are on a cliff edge while he evades, making both titans off balance and fall off the side of the cliff.
