Chapter 5 Training

(Alexis POV) 

I thought long and hard about what the golden wolf told me, so I decided that I would go to the field behind my house. I look around at the low cut grassy green field and try to figure out how to "activate" my powers. I decide to go back inside to my dark red room. I lay down on my silk fiery comforter and decide to go call Cassie, Brendon, and Daniel. I sit down at my computer and think about why I'm attracted to Daniel, I mean I know he's good looking, but I'm worried about ruining our newly made friendship. So to get my mind off of him I figure I might as well look up on Google how to activate the power of fire, air, earth, and water. To my great surprise, I got a result! So I clicked on it and it said all I had to do was think about your element.  

As I was closing my computer to get ready for our training, I heard the doorbell ring so I get up and go downstairs to welcome my little group of friends in. Cassie walks in and asks," Why are we here?" so I answer by telling them what the golden wolf told me, and how we need to start training. Now Daniel asks, " How are we supposed to do that exactly?" So I shrug and exclaim " Experimentation, Duh!" He just gives me a glare in return. So I explain further by saying how I looked what to do on Google so I tell them to go in the backyard and I tell them to get in a line. I start by saying," I want you to try and think exactly as I say, got it?" I say. " Got it," they all exclaim. "Cassie come over her and think about air!" I yell. We all turn to loom at her and it looks like she's having trouble. Then suddenly We are all knocked off our feet, as Cassie creates a tornado that's swirling around her. I see all the grass and trees blowing around like mad, so I yell for all of them to get down and grab onto something. I stand up as the boys grab onto the porch and I quickly think of fire. I feel it burning quietly inside me, and I urge it to grow. Suddenly I'm surrounded by a wall of fire, and so I use that to walk quickly towards Cassie who is standing in the middle of the tornado. I get to her and I see that she looks like she is about to pass out. Looking at her makes me realize I feel faint to. I see the tornado stop suddenly, and I see my fire wall go down quickly after it. I hear Brendon and Daniel yelling our names, but I feel to faint to answer. Instead I start to see darkness. As I'm falling I feel sparks all over my body and I look to see Daniel cradling me in his arms as Brendon picks Cassie up. I here my voice Abbie whisper faintly <mate>. Then all I feel and see is the blissful darkness.
