I look at Austin and smile. He grabs my hand and smiles back. We walk towards the middle of the field and lay a blanket down as the sun begins to set.

"Its just about to start," Austin says.

"This is perfect" I reply.

"The night has only begun its going to get even better."

We lay down on the blanket and the fireworks begin. Pink. Blue. Green. Purple. All the colors you could imagine burst into the dark sky. Austin pulls me in close and I lay my head on his chest. By now I can feel hundreds of butterflies in my stomach and I realize that he's the one. I look into his eyes and smile and he stares into mine and right then he brushes my hair behind my ears and puts his hand behind my neck and pulls me in even closer and he kisses me. It was absolutely perfect. I lay my head back on his chest and he puts his arms around me, down towards my waist. We watch the fireworks in silence but I can tell he's thinking hard about something. And right before the fireworks were over he breaks the silence.

"Marissa, can I tell you something?" he asks.

"Yes, anything."

"Look up."

I look up into the sky when the last firework blasts into the sky. It spells out the words 'Marissa, I Love You.'

And when it fades away I look at him and smile and say "I love you t--" but before I can finish he kisses me again but this time even harder and longer than before.
