This can't be happening, Soda can't leave. We've only been married for like 6 months and he's gonna leave to the war and he might not even make it back alive.

I laid on the bed looking up at the ceiling letting a tear slip and just worry overcoming my entire world.

"Come on Beauty don't cry," Soda wrapped his arms around me and wiped my tear with his thumb.

"But you're gonna leave,"

"I'll be back Beauty," he paused as his voice croaked "I promise,"

I barried my head in his chest and let a few tears slip out.

"I promise," he rubbed the small of my back and just kept repeating I promise over and over to comfort me.

I don't know how long we laid there and honestly I could care less. I have to spend every second I can with him before he leaves. I got up and wiped my eyes and went to the bathroom. I looked at my stomach and rubbed it and smiled. It was a true blessing to be pregnant, knowing that you're holding a life in your stomach is wonderful.

"You think it's a boy or a girl?" Soda asked while snaking his arms around my waist and placing my hands under his on top of my stomach.

"I don't know what do you think?"

"I hope it's a boy,"

"Why do you hope it's a boy Soda?" I asked kinda surprised actually.

"So is we have another kid and it's a girl she'll have an older brother to protect her,"

"Thats sweet," I turned around and kissed him lightly but with passion. "I want a boy too,"

"Why do you want a boy?" he asked

"So he can grow up to be just like you."

"We will have a girl right?"

"We will don't worry," I said silly.

"You promise?" he asked becoming serious.

"I promise," I said back just as serious.

"Ohh I almost forgot, the gang has some people they wants us to meet." he said frantic then ran to our bedroom.

"What kind of people?" I asked when I walked in the room as he was throwing a shirt on.

"There girlfriends, apparently everybody has a girlfriend now."

"Even Darry?"

"Yea, even Darry."

"Wow," I said actually surprised at this news.

"I know I was shocked too,"

"When did you say we would meet them?"

"Well what time is it?" he asked while pulling on a pair of jeans.

"1:00,"

"We got like a half hour,"

"A half hour Soda are you serious?" I asked getting mad.

"Yea I'm serious now get ready,"

"It does not take all of this 30 minutes to get ready," I motioned to me.

"Good cause it's a ten minute drive so you only have like 20,"

"Soda this is not the time to be funny," I threw a pillow a him and he laughed.

"Well it sounded pretty funny to me,"

"Whatever," I grabbed some jeans and a random shirt and hopped into the shower.
