I asked Alex to a picnic the day after I asked Hercules for help. The ring sat in my pocket like a bottomless pit. I was panicking, but I he loved me. That was all I needed to ask the question that would change both of our lives.

I set all of the picnic stuff up on top of a hill underneath a tree, and we ate food. There wasn't a lot of talking. Finally, the silence was unbearable for the both of us.

"Will you marry me?" we asked each other at the same time. I pulled out my ring and presented it to him. To my surprise, he did the same to me. We smiled, and slide the rings on each others fingers. We kissed, and rolled around, not breaking for air. We rolled down the hill, our arms wrapped arou d each other. This moment in time was all I ever wanted. I could die in peace now.

Little did I know that we were being watched. Not only by Laf and Herc, but by someone that will not be invited.
