I woke up and looked at my alarm clock and it was 9:30am. I decided to get up and take a shower. I walked down the stairs and my mom was standing in the kitchen door way. "Where the hell do you think your going?" She asked in a rude way. "OH! Like you freaking care where I go" I said running out of the house grabbing my car keys. "Katelyn Marie don't you dare walk away from me" Mom hollered from behind me. When did she start caring what I do? She never pays attention to me. "You taught me how" I said slamming the door. I got in my car thinking of where I should go today. I think i'm gonna go to the park for a while. It took me 10 minutes to get to the park. I parked my car and walked down to the swings. I sat on the swing and pulled out a cigarette and lit it. I really miss my daddy we were really close till he passed away. I wasn't expecting him to have a heart attack at age 33. Well life is full of things that are unexpected. Just as I put my cigarette up to my mouth someone ripped it out of my hand.
"Hey what the heck?" I asked jumping off of the swing. "No smoking!" The girl said. "Give it back now" I said about ready to punch her. Im getting really mad NO ONE takes my cigarettes from me! "I said NO" She said then broke my cigarette in half. "What the frig?" I said. I was about to punch her but then I thought im not suppose to be smoking so there isn't any sense of fighting over them. So I sighed sat back down on the swing. "So do you have any friends?" She asked sitting on the swing beside me. "No!" "Me neither but do have a boyfriend" She said. "Cool" I said. "My name is Ornella, whats ur name?" She asked. She is annoying the crap out of me, im not a little kid. We are not in preschool anymore. "Katelyn if you don't mind im gonna go smoke since you broke my last one" I said getting off my swing and walked over to my car and.....she follows me..... great! "I was wondering if you wanna hang out some time?" "Umm...... let me think.....Sure why not!" I said digging in my purse for a lighter. "Ok tomorrow lets go to the beach" She said. "Well I have to get home to my mom" I said. Lie number 1. Why did I lie over something so dumb I don't even want to be near my mom. "Actually do you want to hang out to night?" I asked. "Ummmmmm.....sure" "Lets go out shopping and maybe a movie?" I asked. "Sure when?" "You know what hop in how about right now?" I said patting the passenger seat. She got in. "I have to stop in by my house and get changed right quick im getting hot in this sweater" I said. "Its fine with me" Ornella said to me. When I pulled up to my house Ornella sat there with her mouth wide open. "Close your mouth a fly might land in there" I said laughing. "You live here?" She said. Wow why do people always have that reaction when they see my house. "Yes I do now come on" I said getting out of the car and walking to the door. She came running after me. "Come with me up to my room" I said walking up the stairs to my bedroom. My father was working on redesigning my room when he had a heart attack so it isn't finished yet but I have been saving up money to finish it.
"Wow your room is pretty" "Not yet it isn't done" I said pointing to the ceiling and my walk in closet.
"I will be right out" I said closing my closet door and grabbing a random outfit. When I was done I picked up my dirty cloths and and threw them in a dirty cloths basket. "Ok im done" I said opening the door so she could see my closet. "Wow this is amazing" She said. "Yeah I know my dad did it for me before he died" I said with tears about to start rolling down my face. "Oh im sorry" She said giving me a hug. "Its ok you didn't know" I said walking out of my room and to the kitchen wiping my tears away. "Who is this?" My mom startled me. Where did she come from? "A friend" I said. "Why are you dressed like a slut?" She asked. "Because I can be and im fully covered so shut up its just my belly" I said grabbing two soda's out of the fridge and handing one to Ornella. "When did you get your belly pierced?" She asked in a rude and hateful tone. "None of your business" I said walking away from her. "I have no clue why your my daughter" She said. That's it she is gonna get it. "Because you are a hateful bitch that got pregnant" I said. "Yeah but I'm not the slut of the house" She said smiling. I'm not a slut I'm still a virgin she is taking this to far. How dare she say that about me. "For your information I'm still a virgin" I said clearly mad.
