Light pours onto the blonde haired celestial mage. Brown eyes flutter open as the light tickles the face where the eyes belong. As Lucy regains consciousness she began to hear the usual laughter and screams of the guild's rough housing. Lucy begins to remove the covers of her medical cott. Until the pain of her previous "work out" came rushing at her full force there was nothing she could do to stop the pain or numb it. So she collapsed back into the white sheets of her medical bed. Pain stung every part of her body no matter how awkward the area was. The blonde mage groans in pain as she retracts to the white lined medical bed to rest her weary bones. She forces through her pain to adjust her position; she sits up with her back propped against a pillow.
Time passes as she twiddles with her fingers and gets lost in her thoughts. Daydreaming thinking of how she was going to pay off her insane rent and what was going to happen now that she was back in Magnolia and how her guild was going to reclaim their spot as "The Number 1 Guild in Magnolia!" But there was nothing she could do for the guild in her bruised and pained state. Wendy had not visited her while Lucy was up. Beginning to wonder if anybody was going to visit, Lucy sat and wondered what was she going to do while she sat in the guild's make-shift Medical Room.
Lucy became impatient; ignoring all of her pain she marched into the guild hall. Everything seemed normal to the eyes of Lucy Heartfillia. Gray and Natsu were at each other's throats threatening to destroy the windmill Guildhall; Erza was calmly eating her strawberry cake before beating the stupid out of them. Cana was indulging on herself with her barrels of alcohol. The only thing that looked out of the ordinary was Lisanna. She was quite close to Natsu admiring his fight with Gray. Lucy shook her head and headed to the bar to grab what felt like a late breakfast.
Lucy is greeted with a friendly smile from Mira-Jane standing pleasantly behind the splintered counter top.
"Why, hello sleepy head!" Mira chirped at her fellow mage "How are you feeling Lucy?" The white haired barmaid questioned out of worry for her fellow guild mate.
Lucy replied with a smile and nod of her head.
"I'm fine Mira" The blonde mage cheerily spoke, "I'm a little sore, but nothing a little rest won't take care of" She tilts her head to the side when she realizes that she hadn't seen her pink haired partner. "Hey Mira, do you know where Natsu is?" Lucy questioned
Mira smiled, she was about to answer when Gajeel Redfox butted into the conversation.
"Pinky's over by Cat Girl. By the way, Have you seen shrimp?"
Lucy's ears perk up at the Iron Dragonslayer's question. She smirked rolling her eyes at the black-maned mage she told him to look at the Fairy Hills, But his reply was a scowl of what was seemed to be... embarrassment?! As unsure as Lucy was she decided not to mention her thought.
"Have you tried the library? Maybe 8-Island? I'm sure you'll find her Gajeel." She smirks with confidence and reassurance adding a little life into the Iron Dragon Slayer Gajeel.
"Sure thing Bunny Girl," The buff mage walked past Lucy in what seemed to be his usual dark and intimidating nature; towering over. Gajeel stops right next to Lucy sitting on the splintered old stools in front of their matching countertop; bends over to the mage and whispers gently into her ear "Thanks, Lucy."
