"alice. I- I- I should leave."
"why?" she asks?
"I'm confused okay." I say to her.
"what do you mean?" she asks, looking hurt.
"were friends, alice." I remind her.
"then what the hell was that? a friendly goodbye kiss?" she asks, stunned.
"so i'm not the only one who's feeling something stronger?" I ask her.
she shakes her head no.
"I though so." I say with a smirk.
her expression changes slightly, "what, are you scared of love?"
I shake my head no this time, "just misunderstand it."
"geoff, what is it that you want?" she asks me.
"i'm not sure, what is it that you want?"
"I want a chance with you geoff."
I wasn't scared of the thought of love until now.
"I don't know if I can give that to you." I say to her.
"why not?" she asks, hesitant about pushing her boundaries.
"maybe." I say, not directly answering her question.
"geoff, I really do like you, I think you are the sweetest thing. you are literally so adorable and so talented, i'm not going to lie or keep any of that hidden anymore." she says to me.
"alice, I don't know what to say to that."
"just say the truth."
"alice..." I start, but I fade away.
"please geoff, don't leave me hanging." she says.
"i've never met anyone quite like you before. but, i'm lucky I did."
