I stared blankly at Mingyu. He was willing to piggyback me all the way to the campfire site? I hesitantly reached over and leaned on his back. When he stood up, I had no choice but to hold onto him tightly while he walked steadily. Secretary Kim was annoyed but she couldn't do anything about it because I was injured and it would be better for Mingyu to carry me. His large back was solid and sturdy, making me want to lean against it forever.

I couldn't help but ask, 'Am I heavy? You don't have to carry me Mingyu...'
He looked back and then chuckled, soon looking up at the beautiful setting sun.
'If I don't take care of you, Wonwoo will kill me — so I have to. And you aren't heavy so it's alright.' My heart sank at his reply because I was expecting a better answer just for myself but ... at least he was telling the truth.

'But I want to do it anyway...' He whispered under his own breath which made my heart flutter madly immediately after hearing it. Was I hearing things?

Apon reaching the campfire site, the boys noticed us approaching and hurriedly ran to us, bombarding our space.
'______, are you alright? I'm sorry I wasn't able to anything earlier...' Seokmin said worriedly.
'I swear to god I will never take my eyes of you again.' Seungkwan exclaimed exasperatedly.
'OMG NOONA ARE YOU ALRIGHT?' Minghao shouted abruptly. I made everyone worry so much about me... and I felt so guilty.
'Yah guys! I'm fine... it's just a little sprain on my ankle! I'm so sorry for making you guys so worried... I promise from now on I'll always watch where I'm going — it's a promise!' I calmly cheered to all the members. Mingyu let me down from his back and we all walked towards the campfire, where the food was already cooking over the open flames.

'_______! It must hurt a lot when you walk right? Here I'll carry you.' Before I could react, Seungcheol swept me up in his strong arms princess style. Shocked, I looked at him in the eyes but he just looked down and smiled. His long eyelashes glistened in the setting sun and his strong, toned arms were no joke. I could've sworn it made my heart skip a beat.
I could feel the other members looking at us when suddenly, Wonwoo bursted in saying: 'Hyung you should leave this job to me because you're getting old now! Leave the job to your kids.' And then he gave a cute wink. The other members butted in too saying how they wanted to carry me as well, leaving the leader no choice but to run to the campfire with me in his arms, trying to escape them. I laughed at how silly everyone was while being carried by Seungcheol.

The group gathered around the burning campfire, cooking skewers of marshmallows, followed by some delicious beef sticks. The fire emitted a radiating warmth and orange glow made us all feel very calm and content. We joked around all night, sitting on the large wooden logs and listening to scary stories. Seungkwan was the best at telling scary stories because it almost made me cry when he shone the flashlight under his face. I was easily scared so most of the time I just buried my head in Seungcheol's shirt, not wanting to hear it. The boys however were greatly entertained by the stories and joked around easily. I looked around the circle, realising everyone was smiling and enjoying themselves very much and it was like they had deserved this hard-earned break.
Jihoon suddenly suggested for us to sing a song we used to sing all the time during trainee days called, 'The Snow.' I fiddled with my memories until at last I could remember it. It was a song about a girl's feelings towards her first love, concealing it until the first snow... a bit like me right? I shot a small glance in Mingyu's direction to find he was happily singing along with the others which made me start singing too.

The night was filled with laughter and joy, reflecting on SEVENTEEN's togetherness and spirit like no other. It was a very enjoyable evening with all the members  laughing pretty much every second.
