Chapter two-Considering the offer

"Liv, I want to say yes. I'm conflicted." I sighed.
"Ryan, you can't seriously be considering." Liv shook her head.
"He offered some things I couldn't refuse." I shrugged.
"Basically, he's offering to be your sugar daddy."
"I guess. I really wanna accept though. I don't even get paid to be here. And he's going to pay for everything. Liv, I don't care what you think. It's a good deal, and I'm gonna accept it. I'll come see you and Ravi still."
"Ry, be careful. If you get caught up in any of Blaine's drug habits, you can kiss college goodbye."
"I know. I'm gonna be careful Liv. But there are just some offers you can't refuse."

Soon Ravi came in with lunch.
"Ravi, I have something to tell you." I mumbled, looking down at my hands.
"What is it, Ry?" Ravi replied, looking up from what he was doing.
"Ravi, I'm leaving. I love working here but I got an offer from Blaine that I just couldn't refuse. He's offered to pay for all my expenses, and provide...food."
"Be careful, Ryan. I've loved having you work here and you'll always have a place here." He smiled.
I stood up and so did he. I walked over to him and hugged him.
"Thank you, Ravi. You and Liv were -and still are- the family I never had. I promise I'll swing by and visit you two whenever I get the chance." I mumbled into his chest. I wanted to cry but this wasn't a break up.

"I'm heading home, guys. I'll see you later." I smiled, waving at Liv and Ravi.
"You have our numbers. Anytime you need anything Ry, let us know." Liv smiled.
"I will." And with that, I left.

When I walked in, Horror jumped off the couch and ran to me.
"Hey girl." I smiled, closing the door and tossing my bag on the table by the door.
All I wanted to do was eat and go to bed.
I walked into​ the kitchen and filled Horror's food bowl before cooking for myself. I just cooked a quick rice thing I'd bought the week before and sat on the couch to eat. Right after I'd finished putting away the dishes, someone knocked on the door.

"Hel- Blaine. I'm assuming you want an answer to your offer?" I sighed, leaning against the door.
"You know me so well. So, what's your answer?" He smiled.
"Yes. My answer is yes, but I have to be able to see Liv and Ravi, and I have to be home every night or my dog will freak." I answered, walking into the house, so none of the neighbors would get suspicious. Blaine followed and sat on the couch.
Horror ran up and jumped on his lap. To my surprise, he didn't shove her off. He pet her gently and continued the conversation.
"Deal. I just have one question. What kind of dog is this?" He grinned, looking up at me.
"She's a Corgle, or a Corgi/Beagle mix. Her name's Horror even though she's the opposite." I sat beside Blaine and pet her.
I had no clue someone like Blaine would like dogs. Let alone my dog.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow morning. I'll pick you up at 9 A.M., be up and ready." He spoke, sitting Horror on my lap and getting up.
"Goodbye Ryan."

An hour after he left, I was getting in bed. I was nervous for tomorrow. Horror was already in my bed, where she sleeps every night.
"Goodnight Horror." I mumbled before falling asleep.
