HEATH

"Class, settle down." yelled Mrs. Torres. "We have a new student, Savannah, come here." after she said that a girl with dirty blonde hair came up. Whistles and whoos came from the football team in the back. She sure was a sight to see. Her shoulder length hair was perfectly waved and her eyes are chocolate brown.

"Today we are going to get to know each other, Savannah, why don't you pick someone. Her eyes scanned around the room and her eyes landed on mine. I gave her a small smile and she walked towards me.

"I'm Savannah Cross, pleased to meet you." she said holding her hand out. "Heath Ledger." I replied shaking her hand. Her eye lit up and she grinned, "You have an accent, where from?" I replied, "Australia." "Wow, I've always wanted to go." I thought, I like her. "Maybe I'll take you sometime." Her eyes widened and I smiled, " I could possibly let you do that. It must cost a fortune. She has no idea who I am. Finally, someone who doesn't want money.

"Let's do the first question, any hobbies?" she asked. "I like acting but I love photography and fliming." I said. She replied, "I love art, I can show you some of my pieces sometime. "That would be lovely." after I said that her cheeks were painted with a soft blush.

We went through the questions pretty fast. I found out she likes the color green, Chinese food, and she has a dog named Colt. She also went through depression last year, same as me.

"Is there anything else I should know about you?" I asked. Her smile instantly dropped and her posture stiffened. "You don't have to tell me, I'm sure it's personal." I said not wanting to push her. "No, It's fine. I just...I'm still shocked." moments later she continued, "I was just diagnosed with cancer. They said I probably only have two years to live, but I'm fine with that. I just want to finish what's on my bucket list."

"I'm gonna help you." she looked confused, "With what?". "I'm gonna help you finish your bucket list. Before I take you to Australia we're going to have to get to know each other more." I said. Her eyes were as wide as saucers, "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" she embraced me. 

I felt so right to have her in my arms. I just met her and the feelings are already growing.

"You're not like most guys Heathcliff Andrew Ledger, most of them just want to pick up girls." Her words made me happy. "Well you're not like most girls Savannah Addilyn Cross." We got to know each other more at lunch. I'm taking her to the company and showing her around after school. "I can't believe you own Ledger & Family. That's amazing." "It is, but I wish my family was still here to see it." I said. "I'm sure their proud of you, Heath." I pondered, would they?

"Lunch is over, I'll meet you at the fountain after school Savannah. K?" "Sounds good."
