We pulled into the parking lot of the old feed mill about twenty minutes later not due to close proximity, but due to the speed with which Potter drove over the winding back-roads. I must confess my confusion when he threw the car into park outside the ramshackle building, but I bit my lip and said nothing to question him.

"Well, don't just sit there," he said, getting out of the car and going round to the trunk to get something. Hesitantly, I opened the door and stepped out of the car, one studded combat boot clad foot planting onto the gravel. He came up behind me a moment later carrying a bag and took my wrist, pulling me along behind him into the falling-apart building.

Inside, it smelled very like an antique store. The aroma was decidedly old and decrepit, but it seemed fitting to hang out here with Potter. We sat down on an old assembly line, ignoring the screeching of the metal, and he opened the grey messenger bag to reveal a bottle of vodka. "Lunch?"

I smiled. He knew me well, though I couldn't imagine how he knew that I only drank straight vodka. "With you? Of course."

He unscrewed the cap and handed me the glass bottle. "After you." Well, I wasn't about to let that offer go to waste, so I promptly took a large gulp, wincing at the burn but smiling at the warmth as it slid down my throat. "Thanks," I purred, handing back the bottle, suddenly understanding the implications of the situation.

We were alone in the middle if an abandoned mill, surrounded by chains and contraptions.. it all sounded fun until a shiver ran down my spine and I remembered. My guard was up, but was soon lowered again as he played with my fingers and asked about my day. With each calming moment, another gulp of the strong alcohol made its way into my system and soon I was gone, my vision blurred and hearing warped. I was completely docile, a puppet for him.
