The car jolted and stopped it felt like something at the back had hit it! "What the hell...?" I managed to speak but my words were shaken like my body. I turned to joe he was just staring at the chair in front of him. "Joe?" I reached for his hand and he startled forward "joe it's fine Zoe's seeing what the matter was!" He looked at me his bright blue eyes glistening and he said "okay" I turned around and looked out the rear window I saw Zoe gasp she slowly stepped back  and put her hands over her mouth. I was puzzled as to what had happened and what or who she had hit. I reached for the handle on the door and opened it. I got out the car and managed to walk to Zoe my feet trembling with every step. "Zoe?" I said puzzled as I wrapped my arms around her she wouldn't take her eyes of something at the bottom of the car. So I had to look. I turned my head but before I could make out what it was I felt a sharp pain slice through my side and a scream left my lungs that made me shatter to the ground in pain...

Joes P.o.v

Alfie turned to me looking worried "do you think the girls are alright?" I looked at him and answered "yeah she probably just hit a deer and are upset. Me and Alfie chuckled a little "haha yeah" Alfie said with a tremble in his voice. We just sat in silence and not once did we think to check on the girls . A scream filled with pain surrounded us followed by a BANG. "Y/NNNNN" I heard Zoe scream. I've never ran so fast. I looked around for Y/N but she was no where then Alfie ran past me to Zoe and cradled her as though he was protecting her. I looked down and saw Y/N on the floor with blood all over her side and there next to her was a man a gun in hand lying there laughing at Y/N'S pain. I bent down to her and picked her up I couldn't let her be hurt anymore. I ran towards the house Alfie and Zoe quickly followed. Zoe opened the door and we ran to the kitchen. I laid Y/N on the sofa as Zoe called the ambulance and police, Alfie was fiddling with the house and gate controls. "Alfie what are you doing?" He concentrated on doing whatever he was doing "closing the gate so he can't get out and hurt anyone else." Alfie had a point but who was he why would he want to hurt Y/N? Zoe got off the phone and came over to Y/N she cried as she put a cloth over her wound. I couldn't believe this had happened. "They'll be here in 10" Zoe muttered "the police will arrest him first before they can let the ambulance here they can't risk anyone else getting hurt" her words were slurred but understandable. I held both Zoe and Y/N'S hand she was losing consciousness "stay with me" I said trying to hold my tears in at the same time. I stroked her hair and held her hand hoping she wouldn't fade away in my arms. I felt her heart beat slowly decreasing every minute felt like hours I couldn't lose her not now not ever. I focused on her face so peaceful , so still! Zoe and Alfie's voice had faded from my mind as I held her closer to my chest a hand came and snatched her from the safety of mine. I glanced up and the bright green jackets of many doctors were covering my view of Y/N. I wanted her in my arms but I knew she was better with them. I lifted myself from the floor and kept my eyes on the doctors. They put needles in her I couldn't watch but I couldn't turn my back on her. The tears rolled down my eyes I couldn't hold them back anymore as a tear fell off my cheek I felt two arms around me gripping tight I turned and saw Zoe mascara marks all over her face "she'll be alright, she'll be alright" she repeated her voice getting more unclear each time as more tears left her eyes. A harsh hand tapped me on the shoulder "we need to take her to the hospital she's losing a lot of blood" a deep and serious voice said. We just nodded no words could come out of our mouths we still couldn't process what had happened. "Zoe who was he" i needed to know who had hurt my girl so it could never happen again. Zoe turned away from me shaking her head as she did. I was frustrated and she knew it. "ZOE" I shouted sternly at her it startled her slightly but it was the only way. She stopped in her steps and muttered "dean..."  I was puzzled "who's dean" the anxiety took over my body not knowing who had hurt y/n and why. Suddenly the anger and frustration got the better of me. I clenched my hands took my breath and jolted to the door. And there he was sitting being checked by the doctors "WHY ARE YOU CHECKING HIM OVER IT DOSENT MATTER IF HES HURT HE JUST HURT MY GIRL!" I shouted in outrage at anyone that was listening "sir he has just as much right as anyone" a soft voice said trying to calm me down of course it made it worse "NO HE DOSENT WHEN HE CAUSE THIS ALL OF IT" my temper was burning inside me ready to lash out any moment. And before I knew it, it happened....
