"It looks cute on you!" My mom said with excitment staring at my outfit.
We are at the mall in a teen girls fashion store. I am wearing all pink. A hot pink v-neck top with hot pink and white polk-a-dot, and white high heels. I hate pink. it makes me look like a weak girl that's a damsal in distress.
i hate the girls that dress like this. if u like pink go for it, but i won't. Girls who dress like this always do the most stupiud things to get boys attention. You know, the ones that have high pitched squels and constantly look all bubbly and like stupid blondes. Just because imma blonde, doesn't mean imma stupid.
"You know i hate pink mom." I whined to her. God i wanted to take this off. The skirt is too short. A little kid could look up it. My mom always tries to put me in these outfits, expecting to stay clean. It won't happen.
"Pink looks great on you. You look like a clean, very tan, city girl." She smile and smoothed out the wrinkles in the silk shirt.
"Isn't that the opposite that we want. Since we live in a small town i'm gonna be covered in dirt. This outfit won't even last a day." I sat down and took off the heels before i sprained an ankle.
"Why would it matter if i looked like i was from the city, anyways?" I questioned
"Well honey, there's a reason why we are shopping. We don't shop for no reason." She raised her eyebrows at me.
Wait, imma lost. haha that was funny. anyways, this must be something cuz we always shop for no reason?
"But we always shop for no reason?" I looked at her fingers tapping on her lap.
"We are getting you clothes for next school year. You will be going to Mountainview. Remember our relitive, bill? He is recruiting you for softball. We wanna give you another chance at your softball career. Your father and i talked to Sue's parents and she will be going with you. You girls will be living with Aunt Josie and Uncle John."
I sat there in a daze, glaring at some ugly shoes. Im moving? With Sue? We will be like grown ups. I get another chance. I can go where no one knows about my past, or the thing i did lastnight. But that means i'd have to leave all my friends except Sue. Everything i love about the town, i won't have up there.
"I'll need to talk with Sue. But i really want to go. Im unsure. Would it just be me and Sue moving up there?" i asked. These clothes are uncomfortable.
"Ya it would be just you two." She answered.
"I will pick the clothes for now on. ok?" i got up and went into my changing room.
My mom stood by the door as i changed out of the stupid clothes.
"No skater, emo, or alot of skin clothes. you know how your father and i are." She said through the door.
This is gonna be great. I smiled to myself. For the rest of the weekend we spent with our family and bought tons of clothes.

The next week Sue and i started planning. We discussed what stuff is needed for all of this. We decided to put money together to get a car, and we need jobs up there. So save every dollar possible, while having fun this summer.
We sat on my bed to make our full decision. We sat like this for an hour, just thinking.
Sue just sits there with her face in my giant stuffed teddy bear.
"I think we need to do this, Psy. Think of all the doors that could open for us. The town already wants us gone, why not prove them how good we are without them. As much as i would miss this place, i want to leave. If we leave, we will have a higher chance at scolarships, better colleges, and maybe playing for them! Let's take the chance while its here." She said with a dreamy face looking out the window. I could tell she was imagining how life would be if we left.
To me it felt like it could all turn out bad in the end. "I would never think this would happen to me. I hate it, but i love it here. I don't know if i could leave. If we left i want to come back after graduation. I'm scared of growing up fast. It would basically be just us up there. Think of all the things that could go wrong." I looked at her with sad eyes.
"We are going to do this. Please." She begged." Think of all the things this could do for us." She got off the bed and went towards the mirror to brush her hair.
"I'll think about it. But the final decision can be made a few weeks before it would be time." I told her.
"This year will be amazing! We are gonna go to that school with a big Shabang! They don't know whatsa comin!" She threw her hands and hit the pictures off the wall. "Oops?"
We just busted up laughing for the rest of the night.
