Kats' leaving party

Today was Kat's party and I still haven't thought of how I'm going to get out the house without my parents finding out. All through school I ran plans through in my head and the best option was for me to sneak out of the house and possibly ask Clay to cover for me but that would come with a hefty demand of money but I don't know if it would be worth it.
I walk down the hall through the sea of students and towards my locker. I put away my books when Sheri from the cheer team walked over to me and stood beside me, clearing her throat making me aware of her presence.
" oh Hey Sheri" I say cheerfully.
" Hey, I just wanted to check that you are still coming tonight to the party" I panic for a split second but I recover " Yeah absolutely, I was gonna get there about 9?" I ask and Sheri nods happily so I've said the right thing.
" great I'll see you there tonight" Sheri says and walks away.
" great" I say faking excitement.
Later that evening after I arrived home, I tried to act as normal as I could. I sat down for dinner with my parents at 7 but I just played with my food.
" is everything okay sweetie?" Mom asked with a concern look on her face.
I glance at Clay who raised an eyebrow then, at dad who glanced at me for a second before he went back to his iPad. I then look at mom " I'm fine, I'm just tired I guess" I shrug.
Mom nods but I can see she doesn't believe me but she leaves it at that for which I am grateful.
Once we are all finished I help mom clear the table " is it okay if I go and study now?" I ask handing her the last plate.
" of course honey" I smile and then rush upstairs " lolly honey?" Mom calls to me " yeah mom?" I call back.
Mom pokes her head round the hall way " slow down honey it's only homework" mom says and I nod.
Once I'm in my room I start choosing an outfit for tonight. I shower, change in to the simple back dress I have decided. I then style my long dark locks in to lose curls.
My bedroom door slams open and in walks clay " well excuse me" I say sarcastically.
" wait a sec what's going on? Why are you fully decked?" I say finally clocking that Clay is also looking very smart.
" Nothing, I just thought I would change into something nice for when I go to Tony's " he says
" haha whatever" I chuckle.
" so want to tell me why your....as you put it fully decked?" Clay questions.
" promise you won't say anything to mom and dad?" Clay shrugged " it depends what it is?" I rolled my eyes.
" I'm going to out tonight and well obviously mom and dad aren't gonna let me go and I was actually going to ask you to cover for me" I sigh.
" oh" was all he could say.
" what can I do?" I ask and I look at Clay and for a second I can see he is thinking things over.
" okay sneak out this way" he said pointing to the window and I frown.
"How? it's seriously high up"I say feeling the panic rising with in me.
" fine don't go out, stay at home" he shrugs " whatever I'm going out" he says opening my window and started climbing out " you've done this before?" I ask making Clay stop and turn to face me.
" yeah you could say that" he smirks and shake me head.
I glance behind me at my room and decide to Brave it and climb down just like clay is. I climb through the window and slowly and carefully walk along the ledge and carefully climb down the drain pipe and before I know it I am on the ground and I have made it.
" see that wasn't so hard was it" clay smirked
" seriously who are you and what have you done with my brother?" I smirk.
" quick we better go if we both want to be home in time for before mom or dad find out we are gone" Clay says and I don't need telling twice I rush off towards Kat's house which was a few blocks away from mine. I grab my cell out of my pocket and text Sheri and Mona to say I am on my way.
I am halfway to Kat's house when I hear a car horn beep, I turn my head and glance round not seeing anyone but there it is a again ' beep beep' I look round once again to see Sherri waving at me like crazy and signalling for me to hop in. I walk over towards the car and climb in the passenger seat " Hey girl" Sherri says greeting me rightly like always, now I know why Sherri was the perfect cheerleader she was just so cheerful and friendly.
" Hey, thanks for the lift" I say back.
" oh no problem cutie" Sheri checks her mirrors and then once it is clear she pulled out and drove off towards Kats house.
" so how do you know Kat?" She asks glancing at me then back at the road ahead of us.
" well I know Kat because she was actually she still is a friend of my brother Clay and they used to go to each other's parties when they were in kindergarten and middle school, you know my brother right?" I ask and Sherri nods.
"Oh yeah I know your brother" she says nodding.
We finally pull into a spot outside the house but we are clearly blocking people in but never mind I think to myself.
We both walk up the steps and through the door to see nearly the entire school was here to wish Kat the best in her new life millions of miles away.
I look round at the people chatting in groups but soon stop to glance at Sherri then at me and greet us for a split second before they go back to their conversation. We make our way to the kitchen and help ourselves to drinks. Me and Sherri get split up and I am left alone standing in the kitchen holding a cup full of vodka and lemonade. I decide to head outside to see the rest of the cheer girls outside and Sherri is with them too.
" Lolly's here" Mona screams running or shall I say staggers over to me and enclosing me with a bone crushing hug.
" Woah! Hey there, someone's had a few already" I say clearly smelling alcohol on her breath.
" Lolly, I'm.....sooo.....glad you came" Mona slurred.
" I couldn't let you all down or say good bye to Kat who I have known since we'll forever" I say smiling.
I finished my drink and went and headed for another as it actually wasn't quite bad. I'm pouring the vodka into my cup I then reach out for the lemonade but my hands meet someone else's sending sparks and tingling down my arm and butterflies in my stomach as they reached for the lemonade. I quickly pull my hand away and mumble a quick "sorry" I look to see who's hand it was that I touched.
" Hey Lolly, right?" He asks.
" Yeah" I say feeling myself blush.
I can't believe that Zach Dempsey is actually talking to me, he's the schools most popular and prised basketball player and he is actually talking to me with the house filled with other prettier girls but here he was standing with me in Kat's kitchen.
We both stand in silence until Zach finally speaks up " well I better head back to the keg even though I'm not much of a beer drinker " he sighed
I smiled and as soon as she is gone I reach for the lemonade and pour it in and took a large sip to calm the butterflies in my stomach. Once I'm done I head back out with the girls and we'll we get a bit crazy after that because Mona hands us shot after shot and I soon feel myself begin to feel rather drunk.
The music changes and us cheer girls go absolutely wild screaming and dancing all over the place. Whilst this is happening Clay entered the party to be greeted by Kat and Hannah.
" Clay's here" Kat says rushing down the stairs with Hannah following.
" you owe me $10" Kat says with the biggest grin.
" why does she owe you 10 bucks?" Clay asks rather puzzled.
" I bet that you would show up and Hannah here bet 10 bucks that you wouldn't show up , well I kind of told her that the last party I saw you at was let me think......my 7th grade birthday party" Kat says laughing and Hannah
" that's the one with the clown?" Clay frowns.
" oh my god that's right, my mother the social worker hired an clown who was an alcoholic" she laughed.
" it's not funny he was horrible and he had the shakes" clay shrugged.
" come let's get you guys a drink" Kay says leasing them through to the kitchen.
" what's your drink?" Kat asks clay " I'll take sprite or something" Kat laughed hard " oh you are a gem, you'll have a beer"she says rushing off with out caring that Clay didn't drink.
Clay and Hannah make small talk until Kat comes back handing Clay a cup full of beer, he sniffs it not really sure what else could have been poured in.
" I want a beer too" Hannah says " you don't even drink beer but fine go get a beer" Kat rolls her eyes.
Whilst Hannah was in the kitchen she headed outside to where the keg was. She waited inline uncomfortably, she heard screaming and cheering, she glanced round the garden to see the cheerleaders were the cause and they were rather drunk. Hannah spotted Me with the girls drunk, dancing around. Hannah grabbed a cup poured herself a cup of beer and rushed into the house and back over to Kat and Clay but when she got to Clay he was alone.
" Clay,I've just seen Lolly out there drunk" Hannah said to Clay.
" you must be mistaken, Lolly is with friends tonight" he shakes it off.
" oh yeah come with me" Hannah takes Clays hand and leads him to the garden and points Me out making out with Zach Dempsey Clay rushes over to me " what the hell are you doing?" He barks.
" uh oh big brothers not happy" Bryce says chuckling.
" get lost Bryce" Clay says forcefully.
" whatever Clay" Bryce shakes his head and walks off.
" dude get the hell off my sister" Clay says shoving Zach a side.
" what the hell lolly? He's too old for you. You're only 14 years old!" He yells.
" shut up Clay your embarrassing me. And any way I can do whatever I want" I say.
" does that involve becoming a slut at 14?" He asks.
" Clay! I think that's enough come on let's get her home" Hannah says softly.
Clay nods and heads off back inside leaving me with Hannah. Hannah tries to help me and to keep me up instead of me falling flat on my face we walk into the house and through the crowds and out through the front door where Clay stood perched on the edge the wall.
Kat comes over to us " someone's had a good time" she says laughing at me.
We are interrupted by Zach and Justin who were wrestling out on the front lawn drenched from head to toe.
" sorry boys your not aloud in, you'll drip every where" Kat laughs.
" what about this" Justin says taking off his top to reveal his slightly muscular torso.
" nope sorry boys your not aloud in unless you go home and change" she says.
Justin foley smiled at Hannah be for he rushed off after Zach.
" Justin is mine but Zach? Zach you can have" she says to Hannah who nods uncomfortably.
" come on lolly lets get you home" Hannah says walking me over to Clay who takes one look at me " ugh for god sake lolly your totally smashed" he says angrily.
" I'm sorry" I begin to cry " can we go home I want to go to bed" I sob.
" ugh come on" Clay says taking my other side with me in the middle as Hannah and Clay each side we walk home.
( ugh this chapter isn't very good at all so I apologise to you all. It is my fault as I have had such a long time away from wattpad and along time since I have written anything so please bare with with me as I get back to writing again and then things should start to improve. Also I have changed this slightly so I don't copy the book or show too much other wise it would just be the me copying the book or show word for word and I don't want that I want to put my own words and ideas into this story .
