Chapter 7... Missing Person Report

2 days later...

"Okay, where are they? It shouldn't take so long. Could they be-?" Liam said with nervousness. "It's been 2 days, something happened, and we need to find out what." Mark said. "Did Dark say where they were taking Anti to "do his thing" or didn't he?" Scarlett asked. "Not to me." Felix said. "Mark?" Scarlett asked. Mark shook his head. "Luke?" Scarlett asked him. "Actually, yeah. He gave me a map of where they were going. A town called Vernon, it has a low population so it would be more ideal for Anti to, you know." Luke said. "It's about 2 hours away, but they probably went there full speed." Liam said. "Well, let's go then!" Felix said. All 5 of them piled into Mark's van and headed for Vernon.

In Vernon...

Dark woke up inside the car with a massive headache. "Oh, fuck. What happened? Jack?" Dark called out. Jack was still knocked out, the front of the car had the most damage, so Jack got the worst of it. "Jack? Come on, wake up!" Dark shouted. Jack had blood coming off of the side of his head, had blood all over his shirt, even though Dark couldn't tell whose blood was on his shirt, and his arm was completely broken to the point where the bone was sticking out. Dark got out of the car and pulled Jack out of the car to get a better look at him. He nearly started to puke by the sight of all the blood as well as Jack's arm. Jack started to wake up, his eyes were bloodshot, and he looked at Dark with fear and pain in his eyes. "Jack! You're okay, thank god! Are you okay?" Dark asked. Jack was silent, just looking at something behind him with an extremely terrified look on his face. "What's wrong, Jack?" Dark asked. Jack managed to lift up his hand to point behind Dark. Dark jumped back in absolute terror and a little disgust. It was Anti, his body was completely covered in blood, it was practically dripping off of him, and of course he was smiling like the psychopath he is. "Anti, wha- what did you do?!" Dark said, his voice shaking in fear. "Have a little amnesia, do you? Oh, I'll explain in full detail for you!" Anti shouted as he kept getting closer to Dark. Jack blacked out when Dark turned to see Anti for multiple reasons, mostly because of the crash. "You know, I fucking love being like this! So, I decided to play a little game here, I'm not killing anyone, at first. I'm- well, I'm just draining them, like I did to you back in your room, except I'm doing it in my favorite forest. Jack can tell you about it, oh wait, he fucking can't!" Anti said while laughing demonically. Anti ran into the forest where he said he held his victims. After Dark got himself back together, he went back to Jack, who was starting to wake up again. "Jack, you need to stay awake for me, okay? Remember you said that to me?" Dark said. "Wh- where is he? Where's Anti?" Jack asked in a raspy voice. "He ran into the forest, why?" Dark asked. "We need to go after him, right now." Jack said. "No, not you, you're staying either out here or in the car. You're in bad shape, alright? I'll go and find him, don't worry." Dark said calmly. Dark picked up Jack and put him back into the crashed car where he would be more comfortable. While Dark ran into the forest, Jack blacked out and hoped that Dark could find Anti.

2 hours later...

"Are we almost there?" Scarlett asked. "Almost, we just have to cut through this, forest trail?" Mark said in confusion. "Uh, isn't that Jack's van?" Luke said in a worried tone. "Oh, no. They never made it to the town, did they?" Felix asked. "Come on! We need to check and see if they're in there!" Mark said as he got out of the van. They all run out towards the car to find Jack passed out in the front seat. "Oh, my god. Jack, wake up!" Felix said while shaking him. "Wait, don't shake him. He's hurt, Felix." Mark said. "Wait, where's Dark and Anti?" Liam asked. "Oh, no. Shit, if Anti's gone, Dark had to of followed him somewhere or Dark could be in those woods being tortured by him for all we know." Felix said. Mark and Luke pulled Jack out of the car and laid him down to assess his injuries. "Jesus, what the hell happened? Did Jack crash the car or did something else?" Liam asked. "Oh, no. This is Anti's work for sure." Scarlett said with a worried look on her face. Jack started to wake up to see everyone surrounding him, but they looked and sounded like shadows so he tried to move back in fear. "Jack, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Mark said while walking towards him. Jack tried to move back more but he hit his broken arm on something, causing him to scream in pain. "Fuck, this isn't good. Jack's all busted up and Dark and Anti are nowhere to be found." Felix said. Jack started to calm down a bit and realized that it was them trying to help him. "Oh, god. Guys, I'm sorry I overreacted, you looked like- nevermind." Jack said. "What happened? Where's Dark and Anti?" Scarlett asked. "I- lost control of the van, the wheel wouldn't turn. We crashed and the last thing I remember is Anti running off in the forest and Dark chased after him. Wait, why are you guys here?" Jack asked. "It's been 2 days since you left! Of course we would come to look for you!" Liam said. "2 days?! Oh, no. Anti is getting more psychotic as the days pass. He refuses to kill anyone, he has people in the forest and is torturing them." Jack said with a scared tone. "We need to go in there and look for them." Luke said. "I'll stay with Jack since he obviously can't go anywhere." Liam said. "Okay, all of us need to split up and find them, both of them." Felix said. The 4 of them ran into the forest as Liam helped Jack to Mark's van.
