Marinette's POV-

"Oh thank you! thank you! thank you!" I shook Alya's shoulders "but even if I'm good enough to play in the game i don't have a uniform" my thoughts went back to this morning and I remembered i packed my backup uniform "then that's a good thing I brought this" Nino shoved her in the girls restroom with my bag. "Now I'm glad I brought my backup uniform" the boys nodded in union and went into the boys restroom while I went into the girls. "Are you almost done Alya?" She answered with a yes and came out "I feel like a proud mother right now, and I don't even know why" she laughed and looked at herself in the mirror "here pull your hair into a ponytail" I took off one of my pigtails and handed her the hair tie. "Picture time!" She exclaimed and pulled out her phone. "Okay but just one" she took it and exited the restroom with me. "Okay guys lets head out to the field to see what Alya knows" the nodded and ran towards the back school doors. The coach was just about to enter the field when we ran and jumped over the resting benches. "Coach! Coach! We are here!" He turned around and looked at us "good, now about your friend here, she has to be able to run with the ball and kick it" we nodded and looked at Alya "it's a good thing I already know how to kick a ball" the coach threw a soccer ball towards the field and Nino ran to the net. I ran towards the ball and Adrien stood in center field. We didn't have much time and all of us needed to save our energy for the game so we taught Alya the basics, she was really good at stealing the ball back so coach said it would be good to place her at center back. "Want to hang out here? It's already fourth period and I'm sure your teachers wouldn't mind" Nino automatically nodded his head and the rest of us shrugged "thanks coach, make sure the game's still on" he gave me a nod and left the field. "I can't believe I'm doing this!" Alya exclaimed and jumped on Nino's back. Adrien had been quiet lately and lost in thought "hey cinnamon roll, you okay?" I asked him and placed my hand on his shoulder "oh, what, yes, I was just lost in thought" I nodded and walked towards the team's play book "now that that's been taken care of we need Alya to memorize the game plays" everybody gathered around and started to show Alya what we where going to do in the game.

"Right now its lunch time we should find the team and tell them we have a temporary member in the team" Adrien suggested and the rest of us followed him towards the cafeteria. As usual the team was sitting in their table. "Hey guys, have you herd about the news?" Nathaniel asked us "yeah, but we already fixed it!" I swung my hand over Alya's shoulder and so did Nino "she will be playing center field with you Max, so keep a eye on her" max nodded and pushed his glasses up "we already thought her the game plans but we agreed to go rogue if it's needed, basically nothing is going to change since Alya is covering the last spot" everybody nodded and started a small conversation. "I thought they where going to be less understanding" "yeah that the same thing I thought when I joined the team but it never stopped me from doing what I loved"

"Is everyone here?" I counted everybody in the team and once I made sure everyone was here I signaled Adrien to take out the soccer balls. "Tha game will be held here, in our field, we get some extra time to practice so grab a partner and do your usual routines!" Alya partnered up with me and Felix while Adrien and Nino practiced on their own. Alya's hands shook a couple of times every time Felix would pass her the ball but other than that she was a natural "don't worry Alya you'll do great trust me!" She nodded and focused back on the warm up. Minutes passed and our school started to fill up the bleachers. The game was going to start once the other team got here and warmed up on their side of the field. "Gather around!" The coach yelled over the loud talking from the school "no matter what happens out there today I'll be proud of all of you, we finally made it I to the finals If it wasn't for these two girls" I saw people I didn't know fill up the opposite side of the bleachers. "Now give it all you got boys!... and girls" me and Alya laughed and made our way to the benches to wait for our rivals. "Anybody want a water?" Adrien shouted while opening the cooler. "Pass three over here!" Nino shouted back. Adrien tossed him three and Nino gave me and Alya one "thanks!" I drank my water in one go and looked at our side of the bleachers, dad was sitting at the front with mom and Bridgette. I waved at them and focused my attention to the gates where our rivals where already arriving. "Wow they are twice my size!" Max exclaimed, and threw his empty water bottle in the garbage "size doesn't matter, what matters is speed and strategies" Adrien said patting his back, I laughed "he's got a point, we've gone up against bigger kids that us and look where we are now, you got nothing to worry about" everybody nodded and watched as they warmed up on their side of the field "remember play fair, no pushing or shoving them... although I don't think that's even going to cause them to move an inch" Adrien laughed and grabbed a ball from the basquet "come on five minutes till gamemmm time, Alya come over here"
