I woke up to the same things happening as the days before, today I felt like having a pause, a break and I was going to share that with Payton.
She ran up the stairs and shouted, "Cassie! Mummy said you have to come down."
"Hey, Payton come here." I called her.
"Do you wanna take a day off?"
She nodded her head.
I put on my brown furry jacket, light blue high waisted jeans, my pink shirt and wellies. I helped her get dressed and we went downstairs.

"Are you not going to school today? Mum asked me.
"No, I'm spending the day with Payton." I replied.
She smiled, "Okay, have fun girls."
"Bye Mummy." Payton said as she left the house, I followed her outside and we walked to the forest.

"Has anyone ever been mean to you?" She asked me.
"Once." I said.
"Who?" She looked at me sympathetically with her big brown eyes.
"Aubrey." I ruffled her hair. "She used to sing this song."
"What did she sing?"
"It doesn't matter." I picked up a stone and threw it into the pond. "Don't let anyone, ever be mean to you."
She giggled, "I won't, I promise."
We put out our pinkies and pinkie promised it. She smiled at me and ran into the forest, I ran with her and gave her a hug because I didn't know how much she meant to me until now.
I picked her up and gave her a piggy back and showed her all of the wildlife and how amazing it is.

"Oh, and look at this one." I showed them the cute photo of Payton on my album, "Aww, she looks so adorable." Mum said. We sat at a small table at Pizza Hut. "You know Cass, this used to be your favourite place to eat; until you became to cool for it." Dad told me.
I chuckled, "It still is! I just never have the time to come here anymore."
I pulled a funny face and Payton laughed, "Daddy can we go get some more drinks?" Payton asked Dad.
"Come on then." He took Payton's hand and took her to get more drinks. "What you did today was really sweet Cass." Mum said.
"I just wanted to make her feel happy."
"You know that's what people like about you, you always try to make everyone happy." She smiled.
I smiled too. After that I finally knew what I had to at the party, I had to try to stop my friends from dying, I had to try to stop Beth from dying. I had to try.

I laid in my bed until the time for the party came. I put on my tracksuit and trainers and went to the party.
When I got there I went over to Daniel.
"Cassie, I'm so glad you could make it." Dan said. "Happy Birthday by the way."
"Thanks. But it wouldn't be a real birthday unless I did this." I kissed him on the lips and it gave me some sort of closure. "I don't know why I just did that but I guess I wanted to."
He smiled at me and I smiled at him, "I've finally realised how much you mean to me, I guess what I'm trying to say is-"
He stopped me and put his finger on my lip, "I love you."
"Yeah. I guess that's it." I smiled.

Beth came into the party and I walked over to her. "Beth, I have to talk to you."
"Why? Why talk to me? I thought nobody liked me." She replied.
She ran outside and I was about to follow her but I felt an arm holding me back. "So, you ignore me all year and then you kiss me out of the blue.."
"Everything I said there I meant, I really meant all of it." I kissed him again and then I ran after Bethany.

"Bethany!!" I screamed while running after her. She was really fast and it was hard for me to run after her. Eventually she stopped. "Why can't you leave me alone?" She questioned me.
"I- I know your confused but you need to stay calm, believe me you don't want to die." I told her.
"I have nothing to live for. I have nothing."
"You have everything, I promise you if you live you will have a better life."
I cried.
"Nobody likes me and nobody ever will."
After she said that the car came and  Beth ran infront of it.
"Beth!" I shouted.
She was dead again and I couldn't do anything about it but try to stop it over and over again.
