"Sasuke, we've told you to stay out of the village, and look at you. You think you're so amazing to just stroll in like this?" Lady Tsunade laughed loudly as Hidden Leaf ANBU spilled in, surrounding the Uchiha at the entrance to the village.

"I just came to see someone, what could I do?" Sasuke hissed through clenched teeth, "now let me through! I don't mean to cause trouble!"

"Ha, trouble? No. You still have your debts to pay, after that attack you pulled." Tsunade smirked, "besides. You're a rogue ninja. You couldn't do anything to regain that trust."

"But Saku--"

"I don't care that you have close relations with the people of my village, or even my number one student. But you won't be seeing her anymore." Tsunade pulled out a kunai, "this kunai is laced with a toxin that Sakura created herself. I told her it would be used against our enemies, and as a rogue ninja, you're an enemy, aren't you?"

"No..." Sasuke bowed his head.

"Well." Tsunade shrugged, "each of these ANBU are equipped with these kunai, and they were told to bring you back dead or alive. So we'll do this the hard way. We'll take you in alive, or we'll kill you if you have no response."

"Tch..." Sasuke looked around at all the ANBU as they pulled out the same kunai.

"Five."

Damn, what do I do...

"Four."

I need to get to Sakura, but...

"Three."

I can't just run... She's...

"Two."

Should I just die right here?

"One."

I'm sorry... Sakura...

The sound of kunai flying rang through the air, but instead of feeling a pain in his body, he felt dizzy. He shook his head then realized they were all caught in a Genjutsu. He held up his hands in a release sign, "r-release!"

Once he got out, his face went pale at the sight. He was far from the scene, but he saw that in his place was Sakura, "Sakura!!"

The Kunoichi coughed and stumbled a little. She looked up at Tsunade, whose face had gone pale.

"S-Sakura..." Tsunade stared at her student, "why would you... He's a criminal!"

Sasuke immediately got up and started running as fast as he could.

"Because..." Sakura wheezed as she started losing her balance. Before she could hit the Crimson-colored dust below her, Sasuke ran past all the ANBU and caught her in his arms.

He hugged her tight to his chest, "Sakura, why?! Why?!"

"Because..." She smiled weakly as she brought her hand up to his face, "you're my husband and my hero."

"Sakura. That's not true! I only brought you suffering and pain, I couldn't have--"

"I've loved you all my life. Even... Even after everything..." She whispered, her eyes never leaving his, "take care of Sarada... Promise me?"

"No, no Sakura, I'm not promising anything!" Sasuke yelled as tears threatened their escape, "because you're not leaving me! Never!"

"Shh, Sasuke..." She shook her head and smiled, "just smile. Everything will be okay."

"I can't..." Sasuke denied, "Sarada..."

"I love you... Sasuke... And..." Her hand fell from his face, "I'm... I'm sorry."
