Daniels POV
I ran over to Joey but too late the bottle collided with his head. I ran over and kissed him. He kissed back saying I love you and just as I said it back he fell unconscious in my lap. I started crying. Suddenly the door burst open and police ran in. Sarah had called them. They arrested joeys dad and took joey into a ambulance and me and him were sent to the hospital while he was still unconscious. I hoped he'd make it...
6 hours later
Joey still hadn't woken and we're all scared even the doctors expect the worse. Zoe Alfie Caspar and Connor are all here and we are just watching him. Suddenly his eyes open. He's alive. He sat up and looked around and then looked at me and frowned...

I slowly got up and walked ou and then the moment I walked out the door I ran and sat head in my knees crying. He forgot everything! He still hates me....
Suddenly Alfie came over and we started talking and I told him everything that I had done.

I got up and left not saying goodbye. Alfie just walked into joeys room and told everyone I left as I told him not to tell them what happened. I just ran! I ran as fast as I could and stopped at the beach. I just sat on the sand and cried. I cried until I had nothing left to cry out. It hurt more than pain! I just wanted to die. I then had an idea. It was stupid but it would stop the pain. I got up and wobbled over to the pier with my weak knees and leaned against the edge. I watched the water ripple. The sunset was beautiful.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and accepted the call.

DANIEL!
Alfie?
Dan where are you?
At the pier! I can't do this anymore Alfie! Tell them all I loved them!

I could hear his every fearful move from his face turning to a frown to his breathing becoming heavier!

I pulled myself up onto to the barrier and over and held onto the bar behind me. I was on the very edge of life and death and it felt like I was flying. I looked over at the water.
