Goodbye

The night after the party

“Hey” Harry wrapped his arms around her as the city lights danced beneath them

“Coolest place in all the city right?” He whispered as he kissed her cheeks

“It’s beautiful” Kendall agreed

They were on top of Kendall’s hotel building, they were overseeing the whole city through a garden planted on its roof.

“I wish we could stay here forever” Kendall said

Harry sighed

“What’s wrong?” Kendall asked

“Kendall, I just, this isn’t going to sound easy”

“What?” Kendall turned to face him

“I won’t be back at the States for a long time”

“What? Why?”

“We’re heading back to the studio to do some writing on the new album and it’s going to be intense”

“Oh” Kendall sighed, “well then I have something to tell you too”

“What?”

“I won’t be doing vacations for a while”

Harry sighed, “Why?”

“Well, after this London Fashion week, so many opportunities have opened up and its starting to pile up somehow”

“So this is how it’s going to be?” Harry asked

Kendall sighed, “yes”

Harry run his fingers through his hair which was now all over his face because of the strong wind blowing against them.

“Here” Kendall smiled as she help him gather his long hair into a ponytail

They both sat against the wall railing, Kendall lay her head on Harry and Harry put his on top of hers

“So what now?” Harry asked

Kendall knew Harry wanted to break up somehow, he was not the type of person who can sustain a long distance relationship like Zayn. He was more of a ‘I need to see your face once in a while’ kind of boyfriend.

Kendall gulped, wanting to say the words that would cause her so much pain.

“I meant what I said, everything that I said and I love you Kendall” Harry said

Kendall knew he was softening everything for her and she was slightly grateful for it

“I know, and I love you too more than anything or anyone”

“But we were given this special lives, these amazing lives that we can live, I mean we’re young we have a whole life ahead of us”

“And it would be a shame to waste it” Kendall nodded

“I love you and I know it’s stupid and slightly contradictory but I just can’t somehow dich this life to be with you”

“I understand, and I couldn’t have said it better” Kendall said, “This has been fun, you were amazing, you were very very very kind to me and you’ve made me into a stronger less depressed person and I love you for every bit of you”

Harry laughed

“I love you too”

“But this is it?” Kendall asked
