"KAT! HURRY UP!"

Rolling my eyes, I continued pulling up my midnight blue skinny jeans. I slipped on a lazuli blue shirt on and then threw on my favourite leather jacket on top. I wrapped my beige knitted scarf around my neck before I slipped on my black ankle-high boots that were heels, about 5 inches. I left my dark red hair free and placed my black studded bag on my shoulder before leaving my room.

"Finally!" Blaise exclaimed when I walked into the dining room. I glared at him and sat down next to Draco, placing my bag on the chair next to me. A pair of warm lips pressed against my cheek, a pair that was very familiar and brought a smile to my face. To most, a kiss on the cheek would be a sign of friendship or a polite way to greet a stranger of the opposite sex. But I know that a simple peck can convey as much meaning as a full-on kiss if meant from someone you love.

Simple though it may be, a kiss on the cheek is special in its own, unique way. My lips were rugged upwards as happiness bloomed within me. I pecked his cheek before looking at the breakfast, which was placed before me.

I heard Vivian, Kennedy and Narcissa enter the brightly lit dining room. Ever since the battle, they changed the Manor. They made it seem more...lively, welcoming. And I love it. They even planted flowers and bright, colourful trees outside which I used my powers to grow adequately. This place went from dark to dazzling in just a few days.

"Good morning." I greeted warmly. They all smiled before they sat down, and we all proceeded to eat our breakfast while engaging in our own conversation. The mums were together; the boys were talking with each other, which left me to speak with my best friend. Pansy Parkinson.

"I love your outfit!" Pansy squealed. I let out a soft laugh. Pansy was the fashionista of the group; she loved wearing the most stylish clothes even if they were expensive.

"I love yours!" Pansy was wearing a black top with skinny black jeans. On top of her shirt, she wore a green jacket with a fur hood and finished the outfit with the white superstars I gave her. "You're wearing the shoes I gave you!" A smile broke onto my face while she giggled, nodding her head.

"It's actually, surprisingly, comfy. It seems not all muggle stuff is bad." She concluded. I giggled and nodded. I remember when I bought them for her, she wouldn't go anywhere near them. Said there were muggle germs all over them. I rolled my eyes at the memory but continued talking about fashion and clothes we got over the summer.

We went to the muggle world and went shopping. I took her to Oxford street, and I remember her yelling at everyone who bumped into her. I teased her because of it. She even refused to get into a shop, but when she saw all the clothes, she forgot about all the muggles and tried on all the clothes she liked, which was a lot. And let me tell you, half of my clothes, she picked them.

We continued talking until Kennedy told us to get ready so we could leave to king cross station. Oh? Did I forget to tell you? Well sorry. But yes, It's the day we go back to school. Professor or should I say, Headmaster McGonagall, sent us all a letter about redoing our seventh year. We were all accepted.

I stood up and placed my bag on my shoulder before getting in the limo with the others. They were all nervous. I looked at them with concern. "Hey. Look at me." They all looked at me with nervous eyes, their hands shaking as the thought of them going back scared them. "Don't worry. Nothing gonna happen, I'm here for you guys." I reassured, a warm, heartful smile painted on my face.

They gave me looks of relief before returning my smile. We all sat in a comfortable silence, thinking. These moments were the precious ones where we would all sit comfortably in silence — our presence was the thing that calmed us. My mind began to swim with thoughts as I realised that those four would be the only ones in Slytherin. Thankfully, we were going to be sorted again. I hope I can get into Slytherin with them.

"Mr Malfoy, we have reached." The limo driver addressed Draco. He nodded, and the driver got out the limo to open the door for us. I smiled at him as I exited the limo. We got our trunks from the back and proceeded to Kings Cross Station.

When we entered, we walked all together through the station to the pillar which had nine sticking out of one side and ten out of the other side. I went through it first, then Draco, Blaise and then Pansy. Once we were all here, we walked to the train.

Whispers erupted everywhere as they saw us. I could tell they were getting uncomfortable, so we quickly gave the man our trunks and boarded the train. I made sure we sat at the end compartment, and I put a spell on it so no one could see, hear or enter. They gave me a thankful look, but I waved it off with a grin.

I placed my bag on the top and sat next to the window. A squeal left my mouth when I was lifted up and placed on someone's lap, Draco's lap. I shook my head as a chuckle left my mouth. I nuzzled my head into his neck and let my thoughts drift away.

"Sleep. It's gonna be a long ride." A whisper filled my head as my eyes began to close, allowing darkness into my welcoming arms.
