Later that night i felt the darkness gripping me again, I passed under. Drifting through the darkness I could see me, my wife Nicole, who was a little girl at that stage, hugging lipitesquly onto me and me enjoying every moment of it.

Time passed and then we were sitting at the lakes edge cuddling and watching the sunset both of us now around 13. Time passed We where sitting at her parents funeral, sobbing into my shoulder. She had asked me that day to be her family, her protector, I had willingly accepted even though I didn't know what she really meant at the time.

Time passed again, this time I was the one sobbing on her shoulder at my parents funeral, my sister had been so distraught she hadn't even shown up. Time passed again this time a wolf was teaching me how to fight, the source of my moniker. Time passed again all the images speeding up, I saw what that strange man was doing at my wedding, he was looking lustfully at my wife. He showed up again a few years later, it hurt to much to think about it. An few seconds later my vision cleared, there was an odd looking symbol made by the crossing of two boards, one long the other short. A man underneath this symbol. What was I looking at, not even I knew. I think it was a symbol of the lion clan, of which my wife and her family had tried to join, though they chased her family out when she was a young girl. Me and my sister were her only friends for years. She started too want to hug onto me for hours on end, she had a feeling of ecstasy while gripping onto me. She told me once that the vultures where after her... she never spoke of them again.

An image caught my eye, I saw a cell in a dark mountain with vultures flying around the peak. She was crying on a bed, wailing that she would only be happy in my arms. She was a beautiful as all ways, but the look of bewilderment, all over her face. What were they doing to her? I was coming for her. The battle had finished when I made a surprise re-entrance behind there forces. Slaughtering all the offending soldiers. The looks on there faces were priceless when I showed up. They started to scream something about a necromancer, I'm much harder to kill than most humans.

I felt myself surfacing again this time I was in my own bed in the camp, my armour folded in the small bag next to my bed. My sister sleeping peacefully on the other bed. The sun was just rising. The sentry had not been deemed worthy to be knighted, much to his embarrassment. We had been told to arrive at the commander's pavilion an hour after sunrise. A stifled gasp came from across the tent, my sister was surfacing. She had an expression of ecstasy on her beautiful face. I went and scooped her up and put her standing up on the floor. She opened her sea green eyes. Reached for her knife, only to find it wasn't there. There was a shocked expression on her face was only shattered by a me scooping her up again then plonking on her bed again. She snapped back into reality, "I thought you were that shifty guy that kidnapped your wife for a while there..." She stated. "Cammilla, I want his dead guts on my sword more than anyone!" I replied angrily. " I was reliving that memory in my dream last night, but Perseus as usual you didn't let me finish." She continued sadly. "This is probably why I'm the leader of the wolf clan." I kissed her cheek, while she put her armour on. "Perseus put your armour on, so that we can embark on this journey!" Cammilla stated hastily before groaning because she had the armour on the wrong way. I put mine on hastily then helped her get into hers the right way. With that we gathered our weapons, and walked of to the commanders pavilion.

The commanders pavilion was huge, I am one promotion away from it. Already leading the clean up squad, a notorious squad of rejects gone elites. When we walked in I saw my commander, General Verecundia, and a few other ones that I didn't know. "I want to know why we should let you go on this quest, when you leave us we may be lost in the echo." The nameless Admiral asked, only to be met by the fiercest death stare I had ever seen. My sister, Cammilla stated her speech "Is my brother not human? Does he not love his wife? If he wanted too he could have left already, he thinks he knows where his wife is. Would all of you not leave immediately if your wife had been kidnapped by a bunch of psychopaths that call them selves the Vultures, but no, my brother is not worthy enough to go and rescue her. He has to wait a year before General Verecundia took up the matter himself. While the rest of you fat for brains are too worried about losing a battle than worrying if my brother's cheese would be sliding off his cracker? I ask this of you because I'm also stricken with grief, I want my sister-in-law back more than everyone but my brother. She made him so happy, she cushioned the fact that our parents were dead. Me on the other hand, I was sobbing so hard that I was shaking my body with the sobs. Then she walked in with my brother I tow, both beaming that they had each other, she helped me get back up after the intense grief, of knowing that I could have saved them." My sister, starting to sob finished. The council were all on the verge of tears. I walked up to my little sister scooped her up into my arms again and started to comfort her, she stated to calm down and continued to hold onto me. "You and her are the only family I have left, I don't want to loss either of you." Cammilla said softly. I looked at the council and said "now look at what you have done! My beautiful, strong sister, Cammilla is the most distraught I've seen her in years." I said sealing the deal. around the room people started to cry. "You can go but she will stay in my arms." The Admiral replied coldly. "Ooh so you fancy my poor little sister that wants to kick you wear the sun don't shine. Also you would have to beat me to earn the right to join the knights of the wolf. You have to be a knight of the wolf in order to have a chance of marrying her. They don't call me the Wolf-brother for nothing." I replied with false calmness. "Fine then I challenge you to a duel!" He screamed angrily. Feeling his ego changed. His pride wounded and thus a fresh kill for the wolf.....
