"What do you mean I have to go undercover as his secretary?!" Giada shrieked. We all flinched a little at the volume of her voice.

"Giada, listen. This is the only way for us to get information on the Le Voiage." Paliwanag ko sa kaniya.

"Can't I just infiltrate their company as their business partner?"

"Giada, baka nakakalimutan mong isa kang Montisanti?" It was Carver who spoke.

"And you know that the Cartiers are very wary of us. Dahil nga ay posibleng tinatraydor nila tayo. If we remove your identity as a Montisanti, it is guaranteed na hindi ka nila mamumukhaan since mga lalaking kapitan lang naman ang ipinapakilala natin sa ibang pamilya. You're the only one who can handle this."

Hindi na umangal pa si Giada at naupo na lamang sa kaniyang upuan.

I rose from my seat and started explaining to them the Plan Castiel and I devised.

"So this is the plan, we noticed the hasty advances that the Cartiers, especially Matteo, are doing for their business. For sure they are up to something and we ought to discover what their hidden agenda is. This is where you come in, Giada. Alonzo will handle your new identity." I explained at tinignan ang direksyon ni Alonzo which they all did the same. Alonzo gave me a salute as an agreement.

"Cormac, you handle Matteo's current secretary. Kapag nagbukas na ang interview nila for applicants para sa magiging bagong sekretarya ni Matteo, I want Salem to handle the possible applicants. Delay them or mislead them, do whatever you see fit para hindi sila makapunta sa interview. Carver, give me at least 2 people working under you para magkunwaring applicant. But of course we will degrade their resumés para siguradong si Giada ang kukunin niya. Then once you're in, only then will we commence our cloak-and-dagger operation. Am I understood?" Pagpapatuloy ko. Cormac and Salem gave me a slight nod. Habang si Carver naman ay binigyan ako ng isang thumbs up.

Tell me all the activities they do or will do that involves the Cartiers or any family within the Le Voiage Mafia group. Naiintindihan niyo ba?"

Matapos ang aming family meeting ay bumalik na ako ng Clandestine. I'm already late dahil inuna ko pang ipatupad ang family meeting bago ang pumasok ng opisina.

I opened my computer and did a quick research on Sarto's politician friends. Some were part of the current senatorial plate. At ang iba naman ay mga governor sa karatig-bayan.

I shut my computer off and at the same time came a knock from my office door.

"Ma'am Schwyze?" It was Kristine.

"Yes, come in."

She opened the door at lumapit sa aking mesa habang hawak ang kaniyang tablet.

"Ma'am, here's your schedule for the day. Completely free po kayo ngayong umaga but you have a lunch meeting with Mrs. Vanessa Carranza at Sovana Bistro. I think you're also free for the afternoon po maliban na lang sa paperworks from the other branches including the Continental Hotel chain."
