The next day came quick and I woke up with a perky attitude.

You know why?

Well, like I said, I'm John's girlfriend!

He didn't complete the words before I kissed him so I'm quite worried what I heard was wrong.

I went downstairs towards the dining hall to make some breakfast.

My parents were there as the gleaming coffeepot centered the table.

The smell of warm toast and rich butters and fruity jams made my stomach growl.

I stammered across the stairs and saw my parents in the dining hall as well.

"Good morning dad! Good morning mom!" I chirped.

Dad raised his two brows to indicate his greeting while he talks on the phone aimlessly while mom smiled at me and said,

"Good morning honey."

They decided to stay in New York for a while before they sign the contracts of me, being the heiress of the business.

I was told to have some training while I'm studying in college.

As I sat on the table, my dad is still making some calls while my mom is smiling cheekily while sipping her morning black coffee and reading the newspaper.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing new." My mom twinged, preventing herself to laugh.

"Oh really..? What are you looking at then?" I said as I peeked through the newspaper she's holding.

She snickered and held the newspaper near her chest.

"Honey, it's bad to be nosy."

"I know you're hiding something." I said sternly.

"Oh stop, I'm not." She replied but I can sense her tone getting a little funny.

"Why are you laughing then?" I asked flatly.

"I'm not laughing." She answered while cupping her hands on her mouth.

"You are!" I exclaimed.

"I'm not. I'm just you know-- rubbing my mouth." She smirked.

"Yeah right."

I quickly took the newspaper from her hands and made a run for it.

"Hey! Come back here young lady!" She screamed as she chased me.

I ran around the table and I know she is pretty old to handle my teenage adrenaline in running.

"Okay, I give up." She finally muttered as she sat on the chair breathing heavily.

I smirked at her and opened the newspaper.

I was right.

I'm on the front page of every newspaper around the whole of NYC.

"Dad! I'm on the front page! Do something about it!" I said.

He stared at me with his Blackberry phone on his hand and said,

"Honey, I am already contacting the newspaper business to rack all of those newspapers off the shelves or else I'll sue their businesses for invading the privacy act--"
