Misaki never imagined herself wearing a white dress. She never thought about marriage. Though there she was, looking at herself in a body length mirror, in the very white dress she thought she'd never wear. Sora picked it out for her. It was long and slender which complimented her natural curves. The top of the dress was in a heart shape with elegant diamonds as decoration. Sora had also wanted Misaki's hair to be out, allowing the long locks to fall behind her along with the white veil.
It wasn't supposed to be that way. Misaki knew that and deep down she wanted to escape and find Hei. Being helpless annoyed her; in fact, it tortured her to feel like a damsel in distress. Sure, she liked the idea of the man she loved coming to rescue her, but she wished she could do more. The enemy was strong and she didn't know whether Hei would be able to take them on, especially with the gem they possessed.
Misaki looked down at her white heels and lifted up her dress a little. The ankle monitor was still on her. She felt more like a prisoner then a bride. Sora already had everything prepared. The priest was hired, the food was ordered and the hotel where they would stay the night was booked. Misaki shivered in disgust. She wouldn't submit to the man. She had to believe in Hei. There was going to be a way out and they were going be the victors.
"You look amazing..."
Misaki turned around and saw the imposter BK-201 closing the door behind him. He wasn't wearing his mask, but he had already changed into the black attire and coat. If Misaki didn't know any better she would have thought he was really Hei. Now one look in his eyes and she was certain he wasn't.
"I'm sure Master Sora will drool when he sees you," he said as he came closer to Misaki. She instinctively got into defensive mode and put up her fists. She wasn't going to let the guy try anything. If she got shocked, then she got shocked.
The imposter laughed at the sight. "Even in a wedding dress you can give off the intimidating look."
"What did you come here for?" Misaki asked with her fists still ready to swing.
"I just wanted to come take a look at you before I met with the boss. Hei should be here soon."
Hei... The name she whispered over and over again during her captivity. He'd be there and once he arrived, the showdown would begin. Misaki didn't realize it until the imposter had put his arms around her that she had put her guard down. She cursed herself for easily getting distracted whenever Hei was involved.
"Won't I be good enough for you Misaki? I look like him, I talk like him, and I must feel like him...Right?" He moved his lips closer to Misaki's lower neck. Misaki started to push him away, but his embrace around her was too tight.
"Let me go! You'll regret touching me!"
The imposter leaned back and looked at her with a grin on his face. "Why don't you just give in and accept your future? You're going to be married to a powerful man. You'll be filthy rich and pampered to your heart's delight. You'll also have me as your lover. Two men will be at your feet. You won't need to worry about chasing down contractors or working anymore."
"And why would I want that?! I don't care for his power or his money! I don't want either of you! I love my job and I love Hei!" Misaki wasn't going to let anyone tell her what her future would become. She was going to make her own future, alongside the very man she once considered an enemy.
"I can't win with you can I? I guess we'll just have to wait until Hei's dead. That's when you'll realize your fate."
The imposter BK-201 let Misaki go and made his way towards the nightstand where his mask was. While he was putting it on Misaki took the opportunity to attack him. But to her misfortune she couldn't get very far. The ankle monitor on her sent an electrical wave through her body. She fell to her knees, shaking from the small voltage she had just felt. The imposter turned around and looked at her.
