Part 2- Run away again

"What's going on?" asked Jack, Angie stood, mouth open wide. She stepped back, "I, I, I'm in a bit of a, we'll, a bit of a situation. My ex boyfriend, I owe him money"

I stepped in front of Jack "who was that?" Angie shuffled away slightly, "heard of the devil? That was him." Jack stepped infringement of me, "You've got some explaining to do." Jack demanded. Angie shook her head," I don't have to explain myself to you!" Jack smiled, "yes you do unless you want me to shout for the other residents," Angie screwed up her lips angrily, "fine. If you must know I'm an Angel"

Jack sniggered, "Angie the angel? seriously?" I rolled my eyes, "shut up Jack, let her talk. "Thanks Kallie. I need to leave as the devil is after me so if you don't mind, I will just be going now" she went to leave.

Jack held onto mine and Hilary's hands and said, "we're coming too then or we shout out to everyone else" Angie twitched her eye, "Fine, just keep your voice down!" she whispered angrily. We all left quietly.

It was freezing out side and all I had on was pyjamas, slippers and a dressing gown.

We went to the woods and made a fire. I was so cold. "so why are you on earth?" Hilary asked Angie, Angie looked at the muddy ground. "no reason," she begun, "let's try and get some sleep." no more was said about it as we were all too tired.

Morning came with a blinding light which filtered through the trees. I tried to cover my face with a duvet but then I remembered I didn't have one. I opened my eyes, everyone was gone.

I got up to see where they were and saw some footprints leading a rail through the woods. I followed it to the river. To my absolute horror, I saw Jack, Angie and Hilary floating in the river, surrounded with blood, dead.

I screamed and shouted for help but no one came. My wrist began to sting, I looked down as a small line spread across my wrist.

I was then woken up by Jack, "Kally, You had a nightmare, it's alright." I let out a long breath. I watched the other three, glad they were alive.

Then I checked my arm. I know it was a weird thing to do but I just had to. The cut was there, exactly how it was in the dream.

I didn't tell anyone.

I should have done.

But I didn't.

Angie casually walked up to me, "so, what's the deal with you and Jack?" I laughed, "Jack? Nothing. Definitely not!" Angie gave a sort of 'I'll keep your secret' look. Why would she think me and JACK were a couple?!!

Hilary ran up to us, Police are searching the forest for something. Angie cursed under her breath. "I'm guessing you have something to do with this." She looked scared, "Yes" she said, "we have to start running."

So we did.

As fast as we could.

It wasn't very fun.

We managed to get back to the squat. The police were already there. We couldn't go to the woods or the squat. Great.

As we walked Angie whispered to me to walk quickly, I did until we were away from Hilary and Jack. "Look, I guess I'd rather you here it from me. I'm a guardian angel which means I have duty to look after a human. Kallie, I am your guardian angel." I stopped walking to let the other two catch up.
