A/N Hey My Lovelies!!!! This is just a cute thing that I think would be amazing if it actually happened IRL. Enjoy<3

Martin fussed with his suit, tugging at the sleeves and straightening his tie for the thousandth time. He hated wearing suits, but Ben had insisted he wear the bloody thing, so here he was. He glanced at Ben, who was also fussing with his suit.

Ben always looked perfect in a suit, even if he wasn't trying he looked perfect. The younger man caught his eyes, grinning brightly at him and stepping close. He brushed Martin's hands away and fixed his tie, his eyes lingering on Martin's for a while.

"Ready?" Martin asked, sensing the apprehension in the young man. Ben sighed and brushed some imaginary dust off Martin's shoulders.

"As I'll ever be."

"We don't have to-" Ben cut him off with a soft kiss. He smiled up at his lover, seeing the love and fear in his eyes.

"Yes, we do." Ben whispered, kissing Martin again.

Ben had been hesitant when they first started dating, worried about what his family and fans would think. Martin had been patient, knowing why the young man was so scared.

Finally, Ben had agreed to come out, and Martin was thrilled. He loved the man with every fibre of his being and wanted the world to know.

The door opened and a young man poked his head in, letting them know that they had to make their way to the stage.

They shared one last kiss before leaving and slipping back into their roles as friends.

Martin found it hard to focus on the show when he was sitting so close to Ben. They were at the premier for Sherlock Series Four, and he was supposed to be watching the episode, not Ben.

As soon as the episode ended, they were led out onstage once again, presented to their adoring fans. Martin stayed close to Ben, wanting more than anything to touch his lover. He had promised to let Ben announce it when he was ready.

They walked along a long red carpet, greeting the fans and chatting with reporters.

"You two should kiss!"

"Make JohnLock real!" The cries of their fans made Martin's heart slightly heavy. They were supposed to get JohnLock this season, there was a kiss in the script. That was why Ben and Martin had started dating. But Mark and Steven had changed their minds and wrote it out.

Martin gasped as he felt a firm hand on his elbow.

Ben spun him around, pulling him tight to his chest.

"Ready?"

"Oh, God yes." Ben grinned and leaned down, pressing a firm kiss to Martin's lips.

There was a moment of silence before the crowd erupted into screams. Ben pulled back slightly and rested his forehead against Martin's, his lips pulled back in a happy grin.

"I love you Martin."

"I love you too." They kissed again, drawing another round of screams from the crowd.

The night was filled with questions, congratulations, and the flash of camera lights. Martin clung to Ben's arm the whole night, stealing kisses when he could and grinning the whole night.

Their fans seemed happy for them, screaming every time they kissed.

When the night finally came to an end, Ben and Martin climbed into the awaiting limo. They laughed as the car pulled away, fans trying to follow along behind them.

Martin pulled Ben's face down and caught his lips in a searing kiss. Ben sighed into the kiss and pressed closer, licking into Martin's mouth gently and making the smaller man moan.

"I'm sorry that took so long." Ben whispered between kisses, his voice filled with regret and apologies. Martin shifted and took Ben's face in his hands, holding his gaze firmly.

"Don't be. You needed time to come to terms with this." Martin kissed Ben deeply, threading his fingers into his perfectly styled hair. "Besides, you're worth the wait." Ben blushed and looked down, blinking rapidly. "Hey, what's wrong Love?"

"I-I'm not-" Martin cut his words off with another kiss. He knew where this was going, they had talked about this before. Ben hated the thought of hurting Martin, and he seemed certain that not coming out right away was painful for Martin.

"You are worth every single second I waited and every second I will ever have to wait." Martin pressed a gentle kiss to the taller man's lips. "I love you more than anything. Nothing is going to change that."

"I love you too." Martin grinned and curled up against Ben's side, tucking his chin under the taller man's chin and sighing happily.

It had been a long wait, but sitting next to the man he loved, Martin knew it had been worth it.
