Chapter 11: Demon

Amanda's POV

"Look,I came..I came to apologize",my bestfriend-- no,my EX-BESTFRIEND told me with a dead serious face. " You should have apologized years ago",I replied.She was going to say something,but I slammed the door shut.

I ran upstairs to my best friends.I quickly locked the door behind me.I expected to see confused-looking faces when I turn around.It turns out,I was right.The girls were looking at me like 'what the hell happened to you'.I was about to say something,but Chloe spoke up before I could.

"What the hell happened to you?" asked Chloe. "Yeah,where have you been?" Xynna asked. I was about to speak up again,but Elyna stopped me from doing that. "Have you been chasen by a wolf of something?" Elyna jokingly asked.Chloe and Xynna laughed as well.

Elyna's POV

"No.First of all,I'm the only joker in this group,ok?Second,I was just running upstairs because I'm excited to see my best friends.And it was my Uncle Hazza.He just gave me ice cream for us to eat later." Amanda hurriedly said.

And from that point,I knew she's lying.How do I know? First, she was talking fast. Second, how come Uncle Haz be here if Mr. Tomlinson is now at the reunion?From what I know,Uncle Haz and Uncle Lou were on the SAME band. And third,which is connected to the second one by the way, she'll just close the door behind her if it was just Uncle Haz,not lock.

The silence started to spread.So I started to speak up. "Amanda..." I was cutted off mid sentence. "That's the truth,Elyna!" Amanda denied.How did she knew that was I'm going to say?Oh,right she have mental telepathy or something.

Chloe's POV

Honestly, I don't even know what's going on.I'm just their new friend,so I didn't know the whole history of my best friends.Two or three days ago,Elyna had a party.Yesterday,we had a sleepover.Today,we're staying at Amanda's mansion.But now, Elyna and Amanda are shouting at each other.

Then a total silence began.No one was talking.Elyna looked like she was putting something together in mind.Her face was exactly like Stiles from Teen Wolf ,and that bothered Amanda. "Quit it!" Amanda said. "What?quit what?" Elyna confusingly asked. "The look.The look you are doing earlier" Amanda said. "Why?It's just a look!" Elyna said. "Because I'm the only one who should be doing that" Amanda said. "You're being a psychopath right now!What the hell is wrong with you?Are you alright?" Elyna said.

"High-functioning sociopath!I'm a high-functiong sociopath!Keep that in your funny head there.What the hell is wrong with me?Well,nothing really.And am I alright?Yes.Yes,I'm perfectly fine.Fine as the sand in the beach.As you can see,I can still think of random things like the sand.So that means I'm perfectly fine.Do you hear me?Lemme repeat that again.I-AM-PERFECTLY-FINE." Amanda hurriedly said.

Because of her words,we were speechless.I think something came into Elyna and she spoke up. "Oh,God.No.She's here,isn't she?" Elyna said.I was confused.Who is that 'she' Elyna was referring to?How did Elyna know that that's a 'she'?There's so many questions running in my head right now.There's a complete silence.But then,Amanda broke it. "Yeah.She's here." Amanda said,her head pointing at the floor.

I can't resist myself with all the questions in my head,so I spoke up. "Hold on.Who are we talking to?Who is that she?How did you,Elyna,know that's it a 'she'?". "Yeah,is that person some kind of bad or good?" Xynna backed me up. "Bad?Yeah.Good?I don't think so." Elyna said. "Hold on,you're not answering me question yet." I spoke up. "Who are exactly are we dealing with?" I asked,kinda annoyed.

"A demon." Elyna simply said.
