Chapter Four: Caleris Unable To Reach The Spectre

As it's morning time, Yuki woke up from the bed when she yawned and stretched out her arms. She heads over to the master bathroom as she start clean up for herself before go to other place. Yuki got her clothes out and wear them while stare at the mirror, but she stare at the picture of her family like Raine holding up her brother around and her father Dalton giving Yuki a piggyback ride in the childhood years. She remembers Eugene wasn't very mouthy type in the past and Raine always away from home to earn some credit money from the bounty hunting job. Even she got another job as the famous singer which it made Yuki inspired for her future career and bounty hunter which she have to be the Spartan. Yuki wanted to be like her mother's step during the concert in Earth and she first listened 'Life Is Like A Boat'(originally by Rie Fu[Bleach OP 1]) while Dalton was seated with Eugene and her watching Raine singing on the stage. Suddenly Yuki shake her head and focus on reality as she checks the schedule of her concert... but then her communicator's ringing which it might be Info-Broker from the base. She picks up and answer, "This is Yuki... another time off... Can you just give me a chance for harder mission?... alright sir... I can get my payment now?... Yes sir. Thank you." She sigh in frustrated, "Man... I want another row for the mission. Don't know why Info-Broker kept me waiting for new one." She got her shoes on and ready to go out for the walk in the other wards.

At the other lower ward level, Yuki hangs around the shop to check out the clothing which she couldn't find the good one for her taste. She checks out the accessories which she focus on earrings which it was handmade from other colony... none of it is perfect for her look as well. So she decide leave the shop and head off to weapon shop to look for some UNSC weapons... or Covenant weapons inside. She spotted Caleris looking through the few weapon mods that is for sniper rifle. She comes up to him and pretend to check out mods and she said, "So Mister Spectre-In-Training are you looking for the good sniper rifle mods?" Caleris startled and turn to her when he almost jumped, "Spirits! Yuki, don't startle me like that!" Yuki giggles a bit when she sees it amusing.

"You are well focus on picking the mods, Caleris. Any mods you can picked?"

"Not in the slightest, guess it sold out today I needed." Caleris walks to the next aisle as it's an Forerunner weapons... it brings Yuki's memory back when she was training with her brother with their mother Raine before she joined the SPARTAN Program, even she pretend of being outmatched by Eugene until Raine stops the CQC training for the entire day then... Raine gave her the gift as it was Retina of the Mind's Eye(Binary Rifle). Yuki's back to reality and notices Caleris picked up the regular Binary Rifle and checks the scope when the laser sighted at the target. He puts it away and turn his head to Yuki, "Shall we look elsewhere to check things out?"

"Sure thing." When Yuki and Caleris leaves the weapon shop then walks through the shopping district for the next shop. Yuki feels so better when she had accompany like him around. She can finally trust him than other guys she can't trust.

They are heading to the armor shop that Caleris is checking out the armor mods and Yuki looking at the armor ability devices which she can't find any useful since she already got the armor ability. When Caleris picked up the three mods he finally needed for his armor then he pays it to the vender. Yuki felt something is observing everything... or someone from the outside but she can't shake the feeling about her senses. Caleris walks up to Yuki when they begin leaving the shop and resume walking elsewhere. Yuki look up at him and notices he can't stay his soldier persona all day so... she got an idea with her smile.
