Midnight Festival

Chapter 7

3 months had pass and me and Chelsea where getting closer and closer and now it was November 16, the day of the festival. I reached into my closet and pull out a tie. I had to look my absolute best for my date tonight.

*pause*

Tonight is the night guys, it's Chelsea and I's first date! I know what your thinking you want to slap me because I told you to, right? Well don't. I know what I said but she's different, and tonight I think I might ask her to be my girlfriend!! What do you think, and how do I look? ....Yeah you're right I should probably go with the purple tie, that's her favorite color. Ok wish me luck guys!

When I got done putting on my tie, I heard a knock on my door.

"Oh my look at my little boy! You look so cute sweetie!" My mom said now leaning on the door.

"Thanks mom."

"So who are you looking all nice for, hmm? That girl Chelsea?"

"Whaaaaat, come on mom we are just friends." I still wasn't quite ready to tell her.

"Ok ok." she said winking.

"Can I borrow the car?"

"Yes you can. But be back by 11:00."

"Yes mom." She handed me the keys and kissed me on the forehead.

I drove over to Chelsea's house. Once I got there I got out and nervously knocked on the door. Her sister opened it.

"What do you want?" She said.

"Nice to see you again, too. I'm here to pick up Chelsea."

"Oh so you two are going on a date?"

"Not a date just friends going out."

"Ya whatever." She look at me unbelieving.

"Chels nick is here." She yelled up the stairs.

Just as she said that, down the stairs came Chels. She had a black hat on and a plaid button up long sleeve. Along with jean pants and converse.

"Wow you look nice."

"Thank you. You do too!" She said smiling.

"What? This old thing. Lets go." She nodded and closed the door. The night started off great and full of fun. We played some games. I won her some stuffed animals and we even got on rides.

"You looked like you where gunna get sick." Chelsea said laughing.

"I guess eating a hot dog and riding a roller coster wasn't a good idea." We laugh and continued walking down the pier when I heard a voice calling my name.

"Nicky! Nicky is that you?!" I turned around to see Megan, and of course she was with Tom. She ran up to me and hugged me.

"Nicky you look amazing."

"Ya you look..." I gave a weird face. "The same."

"Hey nick what's up?" Tom said putting out his hand. All I really wanted to do was punch him, but I didn't.

"Sup man." I shook his hand.

"So Nicky how have you been?" She said.

"Umm good and you?"

"Well me and Tommy here have been doing just great." She said kissing him . I looked down. "Who is this?" She said now looking at Chels.

"Oh this is.." Chelsea interrupted me.
