Chapter 1
The brisk cool air rushed by Melissa as She settled on the grassy area. Fall was the best time to get pictures. The brightly colored trees, streams of yellow and orange as the sun set, the children playing, and couples walking hand in hand. It was magical but nothing like that had ever happened to her. She saw a couple holding hands and gazing deeply into each others eyes. You could see admiration flicker in each if their eyes as they stared at their love. A pang of sadness hit Melissa as she watched the love struck teens walk along the path. Melissa carefully pulled out her camera and walked up to the teens. "Hello! I'm Melissa and I'm supposed to be taking pictures of love. Um what I'm trying to ask is, may I take a picture of you two walking?" She asked quietly. The two teens nodded and fidgeted from on foot to another unsure of what to do. Noticing their behavior, Melissa quickly added, "oh! I'll be over there getting a picture of your silhouette with the sunset! You can continue walking." She pointed to the grassy area to the side. They nodded and continued to walk. Melissa walked to the grass and settled down. She raised the camera and waited until the teens came into view. As the sun set, casting shadows along the edges and shaping the teens, Melissa pushed the small button down making the camera click. A photo of orang and yellow streams of light with two love struck silhouettes in the middle of a park filled the cameras screen. Melissa smiled at the result. Satisfied with it, she waved goodbye to the teens and walked away.
