A Gift From Rick

"You wanna leave the dream?" Rick asked. I remembered that this was a mortys dream and I had spent it sitting in the living room crying.

"Y-yeah I wanna leave" I said in between tears. Rick looked at me and put his hands behind my ear and pulled out the chip I had put in there. I collapsed to the floor and everything went black again.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was back in Ricks bedroom with Morty still knocked out on the floor. "Will he be like this for any longer?" I asked as I looked at mortys sleeping body. "Don't worry about him, we'll escort him to h-his room so he'll be there when he wakes up.

Rick slowly picked up Morty and carried him into his room. I looked down at my phone and saw that the time was 10PM. 12 hours I had stayed here for.

"Hey Rick. It's getting late, I think I'm gonna head home now if that's alright." I shouted to him. He ignored me as I went down the stairs.

As I got to the door and started to open it, I felt a warm hand touch my shoulder. I turned around and saw Beth standing there.

"Dad said that he made this for you" Beth said as reached behind her back and gave me a little box. I looked at it amazed that Rick had made me something considering we only met 3 days ago.

"H-he made this for me?!" I asked Beth as my hands start shaking as I take the small box.

"He said he was sorry that he got carried away and tortured Morty, which I was confused about but he said you would understand it" I look at the box and back at Beth.

"Am I allowed to open the box?" I say as I slowly start to unwrap it.

"I guess you should open it" Beth said looking at the box.

I slowly pulled the lid of the box.I looked up at Beth as I threw the lid on the floor and saw Rick watching me open it from the stairs.

I look at the gift that Rick had made, which was a rainbow sparkly bow, I knew that it wasn't a normal bow though considering Rick had made it so there had to be something special about it. I put the bow in my hair and run over to Rick and give him a hug.

"I-I thought you would like it" he said with a big grin on his face.

"I love it!" I say as I kiss him on the cheek.

I turned around and opened the door to the house to get ready to go home and lay in my warm bed after this long eventful day. I say bye to Rick, Jerry, Beth and Summer, not Morty because he was still asleep. After saying bye I slowly closed the door and walked over to where my car was parked. It wasn't until I approached where my car was when I realised that it now wasn't there. I felt like I was gonna cry. I had spent all of my money on that car and now it has just randomly disappeared.

I decided to run back to the house to see if they knew of anything that had happened to it. As i got to the door i slowly raised my hand to knock again, but before I could Rick swung open the door and i fell flat on my face.
