"Julia, now you can stay and listen." Desmond gives me an evil look but smiles.
"Desmond no we can't do this to them" I crawl towards the thrones.
"Julia, I will kill you if you don't shut up" he said clenching his heart watch
I stop and pull myself into a seat to listen still in pain.
"That's better"
"He can't do this to you" one vampire near me whispers
"Darren, Larten please come up here"
They do as they are told, hesitantly though.
"Yes sir" Larten says avoiding the wrong thing to say.
"You two are strong and smart along with one other person you will do me a favor"
"What is it"
I look down a tear hits the ground "No, you're wrong he can do this to me but he can't do this to them"
The vampire looks over and then looks down "Do what"
"You're about to find out"
"Darren Shan and Larten Crepsley, you two are now the hunters of the vampaneze lord, along with the other prince Vancha March and his kid who will tag along, not help but tag along"
The room goes quiet all that we can hear is the beating of his heart watch.
"No" I say " this can't happen, no, it won't" I say in my head
"Julia, you can leave now, everyone is dismissed"
I walk towards the door
"And Julia, don't get in my way and don't ever tell me no again or tell me what to do"
With that I leave knowing that I screwed up, hopefully not Darren's life.
