"What the hell were you thinking Xanther," Daniel yelled at at him.

"I did what I had to do. She was going to die and you know it," Xanther replied in a matter of fact tone.

"Well it was the freaking wrong time ok, there were too many bystanders. You couldn't have taken her back to the resort before you healed her?" Daniel questioned angrily.

"Hey keep it down you two, someone might here you," I cut in.

They were getting way too loud. We didn't need questions on us or what we can do. It's too dangerous for anyone else to know.

Obviously we all knew Ann would have to find out someday. That day just wasn't today.

Daniel and Xanther stopped arguing when there was a knock at the door.

I went to go open it and I saw Ann, James, Rick, and Lily. They were carrying plates of food and most of them had a bored look on they're faces.

"It's the Gre- the neighbors from next door," I called to the boys.

They showed up at the door with big fake smiles plastered on their faces.

Obviously none of us wanted anyone near our place at the resort, but what could we do now.

"Hey," Ann started," Thanks uh, for saving my life and all that. Um, here we brought you some food as thanks."

I was shocked. I never expected her to actually talk to us. I thought her brothers would, but apparently not.

Xanther spoke up then.

"Of course," he said politely.

"Uh, yeah, there's no need to be that polite. It's really ok," she said.

"Uh, um, ok," Xanther replied, obviously confused.

"Ok let's get this over with," her brother Rick started," Our mom sent us over here to make friends so take the food and either kick us out or let us in."

"Rick come on there's no need to be rude," Ann scowled at her brother. "We were just wanting to maybe come in and get to know you guys. Is that ok?"

"Of course," Daniel, who hadn't said anything before, spoke up.

We all stepped aside and Ann led her siblings inside holding plates of food.

Daniel led them to the dining room with me and Xanther in tow.

James and Rick sat the food down on the table and they all grabbed a seat. Me, Xanther, and Daniel all stood.

"Um, you guys can sit down if you want. I mean after all it's your half of the resort, right,"she said.

We just nodded and sat down.

James, Rick, and Ann started chowing down. Eventually, Xanther and I did as well.

So, Daniel," the sister, Lily, started flirtatiously," how old are? Are you single because, you know." She wiggled her eyebrows and sent him an air kiss.
