So, I finally got around to redesigning my main Gemsona (and maybe second most popular OC) Strawberry Quartz, and I am much more comfortable drawing him now.
With his old design and my constantly changing art style, he just never looked right and I figured redesigning him would be the only way for me to be comfortable again.
Now buckle up, if you've gotten used to his old one-eyed version, because that's all gone now!

(May 23, 2017) Here he is, the Gem with a lot of personality, Strawberry Quartz! Almost everything about his old design has been scrapped or remastered, hence the movement of his gem, the hair change, weapon change, outfit change, and the addition of one more eye. But, I'm actually very fond of all of these changes, and I feel that they may fit his character better!

Now here's a better view of his Gem and his weapon, the Gem shaped like a strange elongated eye, and the weapon a fusion of a flail and a khopesh. (I'm not sure if this exact weapon exists and has a name, but for now I'll just explain it by the weapons I based it off of).

And a close up on his upper half/face. As you can see, I've moved his Gem to his cheek because I felt like it fit his personality better than a chest-placed Gem. I also gave him two eyes instead of one, because drawing him with the one eye made my highly uncomfortable, as I could never make it look right. I'm also considering giving him slightly berry shaped pupils, but I'm still thinking over it.

Well, I'm finally out of school! Today starts summer for me, though I'm not entirely sure I'm incredibly ecstatic for these few months..
