It was a warm and sunny day when Jason opened his eyes, the sunlight from his bedroom window shining on his face. Letting out a groan, he covered his eyes. He was 16 years old and had short black hair and blue eyes. After about a minute, he finally crawled out of bed and started getting ready for school.

As he arrived at the bathroom door, which was just outside his room, he saw a note on the door. His mother had gone to work early, which was perfectly fine as he did not mind waiting for the bus alone.

After his morning shower, he slipped into a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. After grabbing his black hooded zip-up sweater and his backpack, he left his house and headed down the driveway to wait for the bus.

A couple minutes went by before he saw the bus approaching from the distance. It pulled up to the driveway and screeched to a stop, the doors opening. Just another day at school, he thought. He was sort of the outcast as he kept mostly to himself. Not to mention he got picked on almost every day. He got on the bus and took the seat in the front.

The bus pulled away from his house as he looked out the window, watching his safe haven roll away. Letting out a sigh, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his iPod and earbuds. After inserting the buds into his ears, he chose a song and relaxed.

A few stops later a tough-looking teen got on, making Jason groan as he knew what was sure to happen. The teen wore a ripped shirt with a skull on it and ripped jeans and had black hair a little shorter than Jason's.

"I believe you're sitting in my seat," The teen said. "Move."

"I sat here first, Mike," Jason said, sounding uninterested in dealing with him.

Mike's eyes narrowed. "You better move, or else..."

The bus driver then stood up and turned to face him. "Is there a problem?" He asked sternly. "Find another seat, Mike."

The bully eyed him and then glared at Jason. "Fine. But, we're not through yet."

Finally, after a few more stops, the bus arrived at the High School. Everyone filed out of the bus and made their way inside the school. Jason was the first one off as he wanted to get out before Mike passed him.

His first class was Math, which was garbage as it was also his class with Mike. When the kids took their seats, Mike eyed him from across the room.

"You better not take my seat again," Mike warned. Jason groaned and ignored him. "Hey, shrimp!" Mike yelled, throwing a crumpled up piece of paper at him. "You hear me?"

Jason felt his pulse quicken as he started to get angry again. "Stop it, Mike..."

"What'd you say to me?" The bully asked as he stood up. "Hey!" He yelled, crumpling up another piece of paper and throwing it.

"Stop it!" Yelled Jason, suddenly feeling a burning in his stomach. "Ahh! Ahh! It hurts!"

"Oh, What's his problem?" Mike asked. "I haven't even punched you yet."

"You better stop, Mike," Jason groaned as the teacher walked in, slowing to a stop when he saw what was happening. "I'm warning you."

"Ha!" Mike laughed. "You're warning me?"

"Mike," the teacher said. "That's enough." He then looked at Jason. "Do you need to go to the nurse, Jason?"

"I... don't... know..." the teen groaned.

The teacher walked over to him to see if he could help before Jason raised his head to look at him, making the teacher backed away.

"Jason?" The teacher said, sounding worried. "There's something wrong with your eyes."
