Chapter 3

Ai's P.O.V

Light flooded over my eyes and I groaned annoyed and flipped over to go back to sleep.

Then my alarm clock started ringing and I sat up. "Ugh why are you even ringing for!?!?" I yelled getting pissed off.

Wait I never even had an alarm clock, I turned to the source of noise and then I remembered that it was here when I moved in.

Then something clicked in my head, I forgot I was supposed to be meeting GAARA-KUN!!! ^.^'

Oopsies! I stood up as fast as I can but tripped over my own legs and face planted on the ground.

Ughh...can my day get any better!?

I stood up and ran to my bags that I left at the dining room table and snatched some clothes and some soap and towel then rushed to the bathroom that was connected to my bedroom.

I hopped inside and left my things by the sink and took a five minute shower.

After I was done I wrapped myself with my towel and dried myself. I put all my clothes on and ran towards my bag and pulled out my hairbrush, toothbrush, and toothpaste and ran back to my bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth as fast as I can.

Then I tied my hair up into a ponytail with my black ribbon.

I slid my ninja shoes on and grabbed my teddy bear on the way to the door and ran off to the playground.

I ran as fast as my little legs could go and I saw the playground in the distance. I put more boost into my legs and my lungs felt like they were on fire and it was getting hard to breath.

I saw Gaara-kun sitting on the swings and I went towards him. He looked sad with his teddy bear and was looking at the kids playing.

"Hey Gaara-kun! Sorry I'm late, I forgot we were meeting here today hehehe....!" I said nervously and bended over trying to catch my breath.

He looked surprise and happy to see me there and smiled at me "Oh! Hi Ai-chan. I thought you weren't going to be here today." He said while his smile faultered a bit. "Are you ok Ai-chan?" He asked worriedly.

After I regained my breath I stood up I exaustedly said "Yeah I'm fine. It's just that I ran all the way here from my house..." and I sweat dropped.

"Hmm...and why did you just said that earlier?" I asked him and sat on the swing next to him.

"Because I thought you wouldn't come here because I was a monster......"

I really need to beat some sense into his thick skull, "Gaara-kun... you are not a monster, the ones who are the monsters are those people who are mean to you. You are sweet, nice, and caring. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend!"

I hugged him tightly and he tensed. He slowly put his arms around me and hugged me.

"Arigato, Ai-chan." he whispered and hugged a little tighter. We held on to each other for a while before we both pulled away.

He noticed my little friend I brought along with me and looked at me with a questionable look and confusion.

"Oh yeah, Gaara-kun meet my best friend Dango Bear! I named her Dango Bear because I like dangos." I said while I smiled my very cute smile.

"Introduce me to your little friend Gaara-kun!" I said excitedly.

He smiled at me and had a light dust of pink shading his cheeks "Well meet Teddy Bear, my best friend! I like yours already."

"Well I like yours too! Looks very adorable!!" I giggled.

"Thanks. So Ai-chan what are we going to play?" He said and sat on the swing.
