Heartbroken

Areli woke up happy since now she has to plan her wedding. She got dressed and went down stairs to make breakfast. She decided on making chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate muffins, and cinnamon rolls. When she finished doing all of it she started cutting fruit since it was good for her and the baby. She made Mike his morning coffee and waited for the cinnamon rolls to cool so she could put the frosting. She was on her phone when she say a message from Yenedi. Areli was debating whether or not to see it. At the end she re and it and it said, "Hey Areli, I know that you don't want to talk to me for what I did in our Senior year but I just wanted to say sorry. I know that I pushed you away because of "him" and I my sorry. You know that I liked "him" but I didn't know how to explain it to you. I'm sorry for all of this. I hope that you can forgive me one day. And just to let you know after 2 months of not being your best friend I ended my friendship with him because I put him first than you when you were the one who was always there for me when I needed you. I hope you read this." Areli read it and started crying. Even after she ended their friendship she still considered Yenedi to be her best friend. She replied to Yenedi and said, "I forgive you but the pain will always be there because when I needed you the most you were with "him" and you would push me away. I never liked that I even thought why be your best friend when you can't even be there for your other best friend when she needs to talk to you. After I ended our friendship I still thought of you as my best friend even after all of that. It was your choice and I could do anything to change it so I let it be. I forgive you but now I know how you felt about what I did to u in the 11th grade but this was way worse. I'll talk to you tomorrow." When she WS done she wiped of the tears and went to go frost the cinnamon rolls. She assembled the table and went to go wake up Mike. She got upstairs and said, "Baby wake up breakfast is ready." She kissed his neck and then said, "If u wake up, when you come back from work later I'll give you a surprise." Mike's eyes opened and said, "What's the surprise?" Areli said, "That's for you to find out." And she gave Mike a slap on his ass since he was naked. And left down stairs. Mike came down stairs about at the breakfast that Areli made. They are in peace and Mike kissed her goodbye and left to work. Areli cleaned up the kitchen, washed the laundry, and cleaned there room. When she was done she decided to go get some ice cream since she was craving it. She got in her truck and was on her way. When she got there she ordered and she went to go sit down at the table in the corner. While she was there Michael came inside with his son and some lady that had her hand entwined with his. Areli didn't do anything so she ignored them. But Michael's son saw her and ran and was like "Mommy I missed you." Areli just hugged him and was like "Hi baby how are you ?" Michael saw her and was like "Hey Areli how are you doing?" She said with one hand on her belly "My son and I are good thanks for asking." She got up and gave Michael's son a kiss and left the shop. Michael ran after her and was like "I miss you and I want you back." She replied, "I can see that you want me back if you were holding hands with that girl. Honestly I'm over you. I'm happy now with the guy I love and soon I'm getting married to him. He loves my son like his and does everything for him. I don't need you I'm fine without you. So please do me a favor and never look for me or call me. " Areli got to in her truck and drove home. When she got there she saw that Mike's car was in the drive way. She saw a trail of him clothes and some other girls clothes at the entrance of the house. She got to there room and saw Mike fucking his secretary. Areli said, "So this is what you do when I'm not in the house." The minute Mike laid his eyes on her he knew he fucked up big time. He tried explaining everything to her but that wouldn't work. Areli said, " I love you so much and that's how you treat my love. I don't want to marry someone like you if that is how you treat me. Here's the ring you gave me. I'll be grabbing my things tomorrow morning and leaving. You can keep the baby stuff I don't want my son to have anything from you." She got in her truck and went to a hotel and slept there. The next morning she went back to the house and got her stuff and the baby stuff she bought her son. She got everything that was in the storage and sent them to California. She decided to go back. She went to Maw Maw's house and told her that she was going back home to California because of what Mike did. She bought her flight ticket home and was on her way. She got to California at 5pm  and she called her dad to pick her up. Her dad got there and picked her up and went home. When they got home Areli just cried in her dad's arms and told him everything. Her dad was so mad he wanted to kill Mike but he knows he's not worth it. Areli went to her room and changed. She fell asleep crying and with a hand on her belly.
