Michael woke up in Areli's room with the pillow wet from all the tears he shed during the night. When he went to go use the bathroom he say Javier Areli's brother brushing his teeth at the sink and they started talking for a couple of minutes until Michael asked if he could take a shower. Javier let him and he told him that he was heading out to the gym and then to go visit her at the hospital. Michael said goodbye and got undressed and got in the shower and saw Areli's essentials there and got some and started to wash himself with it. He got out and went to her room to change and when he got out he went to the living room and saw a photo of a woman that look exactly like Areli. Michael asked her dad who she was and her dad replied," That woman was my wife. She passed away 6 years ago from cancer. Areli was the one who was impacted the most since she and her mom were always together and because she was the youngest. She doesn't know that I know she cries every day and night. It hurts me to see my baby girl cry but I can't do nothing about it." Michael was shocked to hear that since Areli never told him. He went back to her room a and waited for Javier to come back so they could go visit her. When he was waiting he was that the calendar had big red X's on then since a date that said Found Out then he saw a circle on May 10 that said MOM ❤. Michael asked Areli's dad what was special about that day and he said that's Mexican Mother's Day and she was planning on going to visit her moms grave. Arwli's brother came home from the gym and took a shower and got ready and told Michael if he was ready to leave. They left and when they got there they saw that she was crying. Michael asked her what was wrong but she said she didn't want to talk about it. Areli asked Javier, " Quiero hablar contigo pero no quiero que él este en él cuarto. Le puedes decir que esperé afuera?" (I want to talk to you bit I don't want him inside the room. Can you please tell him to wait outside of the room.) Javier told Michael, " She wants to talk to me but she doesn't want you in the room. So can you wait outside until I tell you when you can come in." Michael said ok. Since Areli trusted her brother she told him that she found about like a month ago she was pregnant but the doctor told her she was lucky that she didnt lise the baby when she got hit by the car. Javier was mad because he could believe his baby sister was pregnant but was also sad because she almost list the baby. Areli told Javier not to tell Michael. Javier asked  her if Michael was the father and she said yes. They finished their talk and Michael came back inside of the room. Michael then asked her about the calendar and the note that it said found out. She told him that she had found out that she was pregnant. Michael got mad because she didn't tell him when she found out immediately. She screamed at him, " How the fuck was I gonna tell you if you live almost 3,000 miles away. Tell me because if I told you through a phone call that would be stupid." Michael was still angry but he understood her. Areli was crying now. Michael got mad because he couldn't believe it. He thought that she could get pregnant if she was on birth control. He left the room and went back to her house. Areli was crying when her brother came in and she told him that she had just told Michael about the pregnancy and that he's mad. Michael got home and packed his stuff and waited for Javier to come back. Javier came back home to Michael waiting for him with his bag. He asked him where he was going. Michael replied that be was going back home to Alabama. Javier got mad and punched him in the face many times. He told him he wasn't a man because a real man doesn't leave him woman pregnant. Michael didn't care and left. He got back home and erased and blocked Areli. Areli tried to call him but it said the phone number that you are calling has been disconnected. She started to cry and she accepted the​ fact that Michael didn't want to be in her life anymore. She still had her plan on going to Alabama and living there. Mexican Mother's Day came and she visited her mom and she told her she was pregnant and that the father left her when she found out. She cried and told her mom how she wish she was still alive so that she could hug her and scold her but tell her that everything would be alright. She told her dad that she was pregnant and he was kinda mad because she was still young but he would be there for her. A week before graduation she told Mrs. Bender and Mr. Jackson that she was pregnant. Mrs. Bender was happy for her. Mr. Jackson wasn't happy but he accepted it. When Mrs. Bender asked her what did Michael say Areli told her and Mrs. Bender was mad. Mr. Jackson was pissed and said that he was gonna kill him. Areli calmed him down and told him that if he didn't want to be in the baby's life than so be it. They finished talking and graduation day came. She graduated with honors and with her gold cap and gown.
