California girl falls in love with an Alabama guy

Areli found out that her brother was getting deployed to Saudi Arabia in October and that her dad was planning to move to Palm Springs when her brother left. She already was planning to move close to her boyfriend. She was planning on either moving to Arkansas where some of her family live or moving to Alabama. Weeks have passed and she had come to the decision of moving to Alabama in early December. She was planning in telling her boyfriend but was scared of what he was going to say so she just kept it a surprise. She started to lol for houses in Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Alabama and found 11 possible homes. She went on to looking for some jobs and found 3. So far everything was good. She was talking to her boyfriend one night and  she started crying because he said he was coming next month to visit her and that he was planning on staying for a month. She was so happy that she ran outside and ran around the whole block. The next morning she was at school happy and everyone asked why. She told her closest friends that her boyfriend was coming next month and was staying for a month. When lunch came she went to her nursing class and told Mrs. Bender and Mr. Jackson that he was coming. School ended and she was walking home with her best friend Josie and Areli wasn't looking and got hit my a car. Josie called 911 and Areli's dad. The paramedics came and Areli went into cardiac arrest but the paramedics  brought her back. Josie got Areli's phone and called Michael. Michael answered, "Hey babe, how was school." Josie replied, "You don't know me but I'm Josie and I'm Areli's best friend. She doesn't know that I called you. You have to come quick." Michael replied, "Yea, I know who you are she talks about you a lot. Why do I have to come if I'm going next month." Josie replied, " Because a car hit her and when we were in the ambulance she went into cardiac arrest." Michael was like, "WHAT! I'm on my way. What hospital is she at?" Josie replied, "She's at St. Francis in Lynwood, California." Michael ended the call and packed a bag and let to the airport. He got there at night time but visiting hours had ended 10 minutes ago. He told the nurse that he had barely came from the airport and was here to see his girlfriend that got hit by a car. The nurse understood and let him in. When he got to the room he was her there on the bed with tubes in her mouth and machines around her. He went up to her and got her hand and told her, " I'm here babe. Please open your beautiful eyes for me." She didn't open the because when she got hit my the car her head hit the windshield and she had bleeding in her brain. He stayed there the whole night. When morning came Areli's Marine brother had found out and got permission to go see her. When he got there he say a guy holding his little sister's hand. He got mad and and grabbed Michael and started screaming, "Who the fuck are you and why are you here." Michael replied, "I'm here boyfriend. And who are you to tell me what I can't do." Javier replied," Because she's my little sister and I have every right." Both Areli's and Javier's came and saw what was happening and intervened. He asked Javier," Quien es él y porqué esta aquí y porque se estaban peleando." (Who is he? Why is he here and why are you guys fighting?) Javier  replied, "Dice que es él novio de Areli y vino porque se entero de lo que paso con ella. Y nos estábamos peleando porque me dijo que derecho tengo yo sobre ella." (He says he's Areli's boyfriend and that he found out want happened to her. We were fighting because he said what right I have over her) They started talking to Michael and found out that they were going out since January. Javier asked Michael, "How old are you." Michael replied, " I'm 25 turning 26 in June sir." Javier was like, " Don't calm me sir dude. You're older than me. Call me Javier. " Michael was like, " Ok Javier." So they talked more and they saw that Michael really loved Areli so they let him be in her life besides the age difference. Days passed by and tge tubes where taken off and some of her friends came and visit her but she wouldn't wake up. The next morning Areli woke up to a guy holding her hand so she slide her hand off of his grip and went to the bathroom because she had the urge to pee. When she came back she saw the guy was up and when he turned she saw it was Michael and she fainted. Michael caught her just in time before she hit the ground. He put her in bed and called a doctor. The doctor just told her she was in shock and that's what caused her to faint. A couple hours passed and Areli woke up to Michael looking at her. She started crying and Michael asked her, "Baby, why are you crying." She replied," Because you're here." Michael hugged her and kissed her lips and they heard someone clear their throat. They looked and it was Areli's dad and her Marine brother. Areli started to panick and started hyperventilating because she never told them she had a boyfriend. Areli fainted and they called the doctor to tell them what happened and he said just to let her rest. So the let her rest and everyone left home. Since Michael didn't reserve a hotel Areli's dad said he could stay in Arleli's room for the time re was gonna be here. He entered her room and saw posters of the Cowboys and Tony Romo ( her football crush) and posters of Barcelona and Messi ( her soccer bae) He got ready for bed and got one of her blankets and smelled It because it had her perfume on it. He was hugging the blanket and tears started going down his cheek. He fell asleep crying.
