As I lay here ontop of this oak tree
My eyes looked at the clear blue sky
I feel releived, even if it wouldn 't last that long,

The wind started  to kiss my tears away,
Yet they keep on flowing as I flutter them close

"Don't cry," Someone said
A voice so sweet and warm
"Please," So familiar and kind
She ordered me to open my eyes

There, in front of me
Towering over my head,
There, there you are

Glowing in your obsidian dress,
Your smile ghosting against the blinding light behind you,
How beautiful

How? I asked, then it was answered
My back ached with agony,
Physical pain I've ever felt

Yet I stayed still, awed by your beauty
Staring at your beautiful eyes,
The pain began to worsen
Yet I didn't mind

For this pain is no greater than my ecstasy seeing you right now
I wanted to hug you, to kiss you
But my back began to crack

I crumpled and fell from the tree,
But I didn't hit the ground
You laughed, how I missed that laugh

My inexistent heart was beating to to the sound of your giggles
My wings flew towards you, they were the shade of gold and silver

They're daunting yes, but you are the most precious one I've seen
You, my darling, became an angel like me
You, my love, shall get your own wings

And fly to the heavens hand in hand together.
