"Lauren,"

No response.

"Baby,"

No response.

Normani huffed and shook Lauren one more time, "Baby wake up."

Lauren stirred slightly on the bed as she opened her eyes. She blinked a few more times before her eyes settled on Normani, who was sitting up with a small pout, Lauren's eyes drifted from Normani to the night stand.

"Is the baby okay?" Lauren slurred.

Normani nodded.

"What's wrong then? It's 3 in the morning Mani. I have to get a lot of sleep, I have a gig tonight." Lauren mumbled as her head crashed onto the pillow.

"I'm hungry."

"Kitchen," Lauren mumbled.

Normani shook Lauren again, "Baby I want a cheeseburger with bacon."

Lauren buried her face in the pillow.

"I need you to got me a cheese burger with extra bacon and fries."

Lauren looked up and frowned, "No, go back to sleep."

And at that second she regretted what came out of her mouth. Normani began to cry.

"Ugh baby, don't be like that." Lauren said as she wrapped her arms around Normani.

Normani began to sob, "Not even a month ago you said you loved me and now you don't want to get me a damn cheeseburger!"

"Mani, you know I love you." Lauren said as she sat up to hug Normani properly.

Normani pushed Lauren away, "Get out!"

"What?!"

"I don't want to sleep with you tonight!" Normani said as she took Lauren's pillow and shoved it in her arms.

"Are you serious." Lauren gaped.

Normani didn't answer instead she buried her face in her pillow and continued to cry. Lauren sighed, she could try and talk to Normani but she knew that wouldn't work, it would actually make things worse. So instead she quietly got some clothes and shoes from her closet and headed out.

She had no idea what cheeseburger joint was open at this time but she had to go get Normani her cravings. Besides after all this was kind of her fault, she had gotten Normani pregnant. Lately Normani had gotten mood swings and she was showing a bit more now, not to mention that Lauren's mother would call every third day to check up on Normani and the baby, she had also invited them for Christmas. Something Lauren couldn't manage to say no to. Things were a lot better with Lauren and her family, a bit tense, but better.

Come to think of it, Lauren began to wonder about Lauren's parents. They never really talked about them, the only time Lauren could even recall Normani mentioning her parents was when she told her about Yale but that was it. Lauren made a mental note to ask Normani about them later.

After about half an hour Lauren returned home, with two bags. She figured if Normani was going to eat she might as well eat too. When she walked in her home she found Normani pacing back and forth in the living room.

"You're okay!" Normani sighed in relief a she immediately wrapped her arms around Lauren, "I'm so sorry for yelling at you, it's the hormones."

"Don't worry about it Mani," Lauren said as she place a quick kiss on Normani's forehead and held up the bag, "I got your order."

"You did?" Normani gaped.

"Yup, and you better eat it because I did not just wonder in the streets looking for an open joint for nothing." Lauren said.
