Chapter 45

It has been more than a month since Yin Yun has been reborn into this world.

Taking a stroll throughout the whole imperial palace, a thin layer of sweat formed on her forehead. Yin Yun has been walking for a straight 2 hours, exploring, and still hasn't seen all of the Imperial Palace!

Yin Yun suddenly felt a cramp in her left leg. She looks up in search of a pavilion to rest upon and seeing that there's none, Yin Yun let out a huff.

Plop!

Yin Yun sat down right in the middle of who knows where, for she has gotten lost in the very palace she had "lived in for 14 years."

Massaging her cramped leg, Yin Yun tried to answer why the emperor wanted her to explore the whole Imperial Palace but still couldn't think of a reason. After resting for a few minutes, without a care of dignity of being seen by servants, she got up and continued walking.

Another hour passed as Yin Yun passed by palaces, servants quarters and such. It was then that Yin Yun, whose forehead was drenched in sweat and breathing heavily, started getting dizzy.

The sun was scorching today and she's dehydrated, added to that, she hasn't eaten anything yet since she never thought that the Imperial Palace could be so big.

Damn it! I should've at least stopped to drink water...

As Yin Yun kept on walking while self regretting that she could have rested or asked for a drink at all those buildings she had passed, her vision blurred and darkened. With that, she fainted in who knows where in this Imperial Palace.

The Black Panthers who were following behind her felt unsure what to do.

Panther 1: "What should we do?"

Panther 2: "Well, the emperor said to not help the princess and only report to him what happened."

Panther 3: "You guys do know that the emperor would be very angry if he learns that the princess fainted and we did not help her."

Panther 1: "Should we carry her back to her palace or to a nearby palace then?"

Panther 3: "I don't know, ah! What do you think we should do, Fourth?"

Panther 4: "Think about it, the emperor suddenly told the crown princess to tour the Imperial Palace and she is to see every inch of the of it."

Seeing that everyone was still staring at him silently, Panther 4 continued, "It's the emperor's plan to keep the crown princess in the Imperial Palace."

Panther 2: "I see, then if we bring the princess back to her palace then she would have to start all over again."

Panther 3: *eyes shining* "Let's bring her back, that way, the emperor might give us a bonus!"

Panther 1: Please don't hold this against us, dear Crown Princess.(>_<)

And so, the Black Panthers quickly and secretly  carried Yin Yun back. Since Panther 4 was the strongest, he got chosen to be the one to carry Yin Yun.

On the way back, Yin Yun woke up once and when she saw that she was being piggyback by someone, she got flustered and tried to get off. When Panther 4 detected movement on his back, he let go of Yin Yun and turned around to catch her in his arms just as Yin Yun was about to hit the ground. The moment Yin Yun fell into his arms, Panther 4 pressed on one of her acupuncture point.

When Yin Yun was suddenly released, she embraced herself for impact however she actually fell into someone's arms instead and before she could process what happened, she was knocked out by that person.

Panther 1, 2, and 3: Σ(　ﾟдﾟ) "Fourth!"

Panther 4: "What? I only made her go back to sleep."

Kitchen

Fu Ling was preparing a meal for Yin Yun thinking that Yin Yun was probably on her way back by now.

When four figures suddenly landed near her, it caused Fu Ling to immediately grab the kitchen knife and go into a defensive stance.

When Fu Ling saw Yin Yun being princess carried, she placed the kitchen knife down as she figured out the identifications of the four men.

Fu Ling watched as a white sheet appeared in one of the four men's hand, quickly, he spread out the sheet onto the ground and the man carrying Yin Yun laid her down onto the white sheet.

After that was taken care of, they turned around and their silhouettes blurred, disappearing back into hiding, leaving Fu Ling with no words or explanations.

I know it has been four months since I last updated, I apologized, especially to the readers who I said I'll probably update that week or the next but didn't. I'm terribly sorry for breaking my words.
