Katie's POV

For the past 2 years, my life is better with my beautiful daughter. Her smile always lights up my world whenever I'm depressed. Just being with her makes me.... Happy..

I did bring her to work because my other best friend, Saki, couldn't babysit because she's on a trip to Hawaii with her husband.

'Lucky bitch..'

Anyway, when I brought her inside, almost everyone went straight to me just to see her. Her cheeks were pinched and she was held by everyone.. twice... I can still remember Madelyn actually punching Mr. Kursochi when he pinched her cheek too hard. And of course, Mr. Chan decide to give me 2 months​ off so I can care for her. I told him that I don't need more days off and I want to do work, but he, of course, declined and always said,

"Spend some time with your beautiful daughter.. You need it. Plus, you're a mother now.."

That's why I'm at home right now, watching my daughter watching her favorite TV show.. SpongeBob.. (Who doesn't watch SpongeBob!? I still watch SpongeBob and I'm 19! ...I'll shut up...)

But....

Usually, when I'm with my daughter anywhere we go, home or other places, I always get a feeling I'm being watched.. I know it isn't Hanzo.. cause if it was, I'm gonna slap him for:

1. Creeping me out
2. Not being here for me

For example, yesterday.. I was at the grocery store with Madelyn to get things.. *cough cough* Diapers *cough cough* This girl is just going through them and she's eating healthy foods... Maybe she can cut short on it.. Anyways, as I was done the aisle, I noticed about 3 tall men just staring at me. But whenever I look, they look away, ignoring the fact that they're watching me.. What's creepy about them is that they have these... Creepy owl masks on.. But every time I leave and go into another aisle, they just.. follow me and Madelyn..

I can sometimes hear them say stuff but I can only hear some..

'There she is.. daughter... Shimada..'

'What should we do?'

That was all I heard before I quickly start fast walk to home, hoping they wouldn't follow me. Now, I always keep the blinds closed so they won't have to see me or Madelyn.. And I keep the doors and windows locked every time I leave and at night.

"Madelyn, sweetheart.." I looked down at her playing with her new doll I recently bought her. Madelyn looked up with an adorable look on her face. "Would you like your favorite food for dinner tonight?" I watched her small lips form a wide smile and she stood up. "Yes yess!!"I smiled happily and bend down to pick her up. "Well.. let's not waste time sitting around! Let's go eat!"
