Well I said sooner or later you'd find out the second reason on why a kid my age was always excited on going to school so here it is. Remember in chapter one I talked about the special someone who lived in front of us.? Well he was also an alcoholic but he could handle his to the point he stayed up until my grandmother was asleep and also my brother. He would purposely drop things on the floor under his chair telling me to get it up. Every time I did just what I was told because he was grown and I was a child who didn't know better. This started to happen more and more to the point I would sleep with my grandmother until she started having company. The weekdays for school I enjoyed them but I hated the fact the the moment I left one problem at home to face another problem with the kids on the bus. I got things thrown at me and got called black and ugly people pulled my hair because I didn't have things that people my age had. I really didn't too much care for all the fashion because I knew my people couldn't afford it. Day in an day out I would go into the cafeteria and not even eat because people would ask for my food and it seemed like the only time I got someone to speak to me. Class was not better people put things under my desk took my paper stole my answers an more but I stayed calm and remained on honor roll. One day I went home late from school and Blu was finally in his own home my grandma was cooking and the day was looking good. I helped grandma clean the chitterlings. We cooked them and then we all sat at the table an ate. Once we finished grandma insisted on taking him a plate. I wanted to just knock on his door hand him the plate and leave but of courss he made that difficult.
